I'll start this off by saying not all atheists do this...

But, there are some individuals that practically run around screaming that they are Atheist!

I don't have anything against atheists, It's just that I find it rude when some people decide that I care that they are an Atheist.

I really don't care. I don't tell everyone I meet that I am a Lutheran 3 minutes into the conversation.

So, tell your stories about people you've met, and your opinion on people telling you about their religion or non-religion.

I even find people putting "I'm an Atheist" on their profiles on Armor Games. I think thats even kind of annoying. Or rude...But that's just me.


Why do you care what people put on their profiles? I have seen plenty of people put 'I am Christian' on their profiles. It doesn't bother me at all.

So yes it definitely is just you.

If it has something to do with what you're talking about, I don't see anything wrong with telling someone that you're atheist.


If you read the earlier conversation, The thread is about people people pushing their beliefs in your face randomlly and completely off subject. Yes, it is ok to state your theories and beliefs IF YOU ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT IT. Otherwise, its annoying and rude.

You totally killed your first statement with the second one. And I am entitled to my opinion...that why I said "Thats just me" and "I find it to be..."

Lol that always seems to be the problem with these types of conversations. Opinions suddenly become cannon fodder in the inevitable war unless the people involved are either controlled or actually mature enough to keep their sensibility about them.

Not really. I never claimed you didn't have the right to your opinion, just that you are in the minority.

Seems to me that if somebody wants to disclose what they believe in that they have that right. I make no judgement on words but actions. I bounce at a bar and listen to peoples conversations and people out there believe in many different ideals and have reasons for explaining lifes situations. Some sound strange some suound stupid but I still give them benefit of the doubt until I seem their beliefs in action and if it turns out to be something I disagree with then I pass judgement...

And then some moderator came and decided to change it when they could have just replied and told their opinion.

We are all entitled to our opinion. But, it isn't fair for someone to use power that nobody else has to force their beliefs on you. This just proves the point of the Thread.

Haha, it's like Hitler using his power to tell everyone that we would have a perfect world without jews.
