I think it's needed in many instances.

The death penalty is extreme and should be used sparingly. Just killing people willy nilly isn't gonna solve anything.

Like I said earlyer, kill and be killed. The right of Balance.

I'm a supporter of the death penalty. People that kidnap, rape, and murder little kids, serial killers, repeat rapists even, put them in front of the firing squad. The one thing I don't understand is why so many people like lethal injection. It just doesn't seem right, a doctor killing someone with a method pretty much invented by the Nazis. Firing squad is quick and clean enough.

I think the man who shot and killed 3 cops, and wounded many more should be exacuted.

When it comes to murderers I think they should die the way they killed their victims. So like if somebody buried his victim alive than that person should be buried alive.

I think we should repeal the death penalty. I'm pro-life, and alot of people think that means I am anti-abortion, but it means I'm against all forms of killing.

I may be pro-choice when it comes to abortion, but i agree with you orion732, on the death penalty. That is taking away all a person has, and ending the future for them. It's really hard to wrap your head around it.

haha its funny how ppl want the killers to "suffer"... are u kidding me??? You want them to suffer by dying... I honestly think that when u think about it, its just a very easy way out. Leave them in jail for 75 years... That IS suffering. If they raped girls, trust me, they will get raped, and beat up almost every day in prison. That to me is suffering..

oops, double post.

I agree with you that they will suffer, and some suffering may be in order. The conditions you describe that are in some prisons are depressing, and can be true. But I think that most will suffer without that. Just living with themselves would be hard. Or at least I think it would be. I'm not in prison and I haven't commited any crimes (trust me). But to many people, maybe not all, just living with what you have done is suffering enough.

Ya, but don't forget that they stay 20 years on death row before they get executed. The same thing everyday for 20 years is, IMO, true suffering. Not physical, but meantal suffering, which can be 100 times worse.

Thanks TSL3, that is what I was trying to say. Mental suffering. I couldn't find the right words.

I didn't know they stayed 20 on death row before the were executed. That makes more of a case agaisnt death row. I'm sure some would like it to be fast and get it over with, but the extend it, prolong the suffering, both suffering about the past and the future. What they did, and what will happen to them.

That is quite contradictory. If you commit abortion, you are also taking away all a person has, and ending the future for them.

Well, what if the mother isn't going to care for the baby or she lives on the street? Then the child doesn't have a future do they? But for birth control, I find it lower than dirt.

Ok, that's enough of abortion please.
