well from the sound of it your halfway to the firepower of last game and you have nearly the score of your first game so good job, just dont underanger till around wave 160 and build up at least 12 annihilaters
I had to end it myself, or have it die in a shutdown . 12 billion score, which, while not bad, pales compared to the 88 billion score I once had (the one where i really overangered wave 126).
I'm afraid it will be next summer at least before i can attempt it again.
ConerC, I haven't the time to play. I'm still at wave 25 with about 2b score. Anyway with the VM, I'm not in a hurry till I have a save game option. By minimizing the lag in traps, I've about half lag with my previous game.
how many levels are there? I'm on 35 up to yet. starting to get the hang of things now. Still don't know things like which gems make the best combinations and the best way to spend mana for the biggest return in firepower, I just randomly spend and hope for the best!
At what stage do mana farms need to be considered?
Trickstar, mana farms are from level 36 mostly, but level 32 is mandatory for a successful attempt at a R/O mana farm... I expect level 16 to be enough to try L/O mana farm, but never tried this type. There are 78 game levels and an unlimited (technically) number of wizard levels.
read the description about red mastery :P see, it gives additional # of targets for traps, and red/orange gem will leech mana from all its targets at once. Lime/orange will leech mana from one target, but several times. So when you combine, you get 70% orange spec, but applied more than once, resulting in more mana per trap fire.
id say grade 10 gems in traps would begin to be effective because unless you supergem, abut grade 9-10 is where it hits 670 firing speed. however taking advantage of dual dmg bonus you might as well use all reds and oranges to supergem your traps so that your farm is not only farming mana but putting out some serious dmg
For tricksar: for orange/red traps, grade 4 red is needed to hit multiple targets, so match it with a grade 4 orange gem.
Once you've mastered the basic mana farm, you can experiment with alternative styles, such as R/O/C, R/O/L, R/O/Y, prismatic (causes high lag), and even (on some levels), a shock farm, where the orange gems are moved to the towers, and max-firerate R/C gems are placed in the traps.
awwwww i hate it when no big games are going on, id start my own but im buisy atm, ill start again some time tho so im not done yet, im the type of person who wont quit once he sets his eyes on a goal, and thats the be the first to beat 228, first to provide proof of scoring 1t, and 2nd to claim to score 1t(a guy claimed 2.2 and he sounds like he knew what he was talking about, he said it was wave 100 when he quit and he had about 1.3x my firepower so i almost caught him in firepower, he must have angered and mana pooled better than me and those 2 things are my weak points for scoring, i just like lots of firepower
My save files are gone. I had gotten up to about level 111, and was at the blue and green level before the 4th Arcane level when I last saved. I'm using Firefox and haven't had any weird issues up to this point. Does anyone know what I can do to get my saves back?
