Well,everybody thinks world will end in 2012(or once thinked),but in my opinion,the will be another world war based on nuclear and atomic weapons that will destroy most world's envroiment and population,or just make we angry and at 2013 will be a faire's tale?Take a look and see if the maya guys were wrong:finance Crisis(please excuse grammar mistakes),North Korea nuclear weapon stuff,Iraq war is getting bad,etc...and the good is that Barack Obama is making Cuba a ally for what is coming.The maya civilization could be some years wrong,i mean, the end could be at 2010,2011...Or even in this year!

I'd say you done good - But you scrawled off the whole thing where people would join in - Americas forces are stretched, Britain won't probably join due to the distances etc, China might, only when it comes REALLY bad, Russia probably will mind their own business, which is good... 3rd World Countries won't really do anything effective really, others I don't really think would help - Japan might but other than that I think they're just gonna sort it out head on...
All of their nukes and missles have met only partial success, or failed completely. If they have 2 or 3, they're not a threat because they're going to keep them as a means to keep SK from invading them, as they are only in a cease fire, not a full peace treaty. But if they still get a hold of nuclear material, they can build enough to where they become a threat.
North Korea are believed to have around 11 nukes. Also, you guys should take into account the difference between 'nukes' and nuclear 'bombs'. The term 'nuke' is often used to describe any weapon which derives its power from a nuclear source, however, in this context, 'nukes' are some variant of ICBM. These are very hard to develop, especially for countries lacking the necessary technology, like North Korea. However I would not be at all surprised if the North Koreans have around 4/5 nuclear bombs, similar to those the US dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These are much easier to develop and much easier to use.
South Korea is not stupid enough to engage them in a war any time soon. It would instantly lose the support of Japan and the US, even if it was a 're emptive strike'.
aside from that Obama is actually trying to rid the world of all nuclear weapons because they are too powerful for anyone to use. He has already started to disable our nukes
We (the us) have been disabling nukes long before obama came into office. same with russia. some treaty we signed (its on the tip of my toung) Nuclear...blah..but, the US and Russia have to limit there nukes to below a certain number (500 i think) by some year. I think reagan signed it...dunno can someone back me up on this? lol
@Maverick: No, worst case scenario is US not nuking Asia... Trust me, that would be far worse (especially since we would lose) @Highfire: Why wouldn't UK join? They are America's closest ally and have the second most advanced military in the world. Not to mention that they are also extremely close allies with Israel. As for China, I didn't have them come in until later... Russia has declared that it has alliances with some of the countries of the East. Maybe not, but I would assume that they would join too...
I guarantee that it won't happen though. Besides, we'd still retain the ability to mass produce them should the need arise...

Even if we wanted to get stuck in, we don't have the military man power or resources. We are already overstretched in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The US may be our closest ally, but that doesn't mean we follow them into every conflict based solely on that. This conflict, in its beginnings anyway, would have nothing at all to do with us.
As for the Israel part, we do back them, but supply them with arms and capital like the US does.
I was assuming that by the time this was over, we would be out of the middle east, or at least for the most part...

Yep... If it wasn't for the US and UK, the Seven Days War would have been much shorter and the winners would have been the losers...
i know we already started disabling nukes, but Obama wants to completely eliminate ALL the nukes not just 500
well, we've been disabling nukes for almost a decade now, and we're at a little over the couple thousand mark. i highly doubt that in 4 years, were gonna luse all of our nukes
