Many people thing Islam because of the events surrounding 9/11. But actually Islam is the right religion. The Prophet (peace be upon him) told us to be kind to each other, to respect our parents, and too worship the one and only lord Allah the most gracious, the most merciful. There will be a day, the day of judgment were we will stand before our lord and be judged by our deeds. To be a Muslim you must do the five pillars of islam. 1.Ashahadah (Believing Allah is the one and only lord and Muhammad is his messenger) 2.Salat(5 daily prayers, Dawn,Noon,Afternoon,Evening,Dusk 3.Zakat(Charity 2.5% of ones wealth) 4.Hajj (pilgrimage to mekkah at least once in your life if healthy and wealthy) 5.Fasting(Restricting food and water for a whole day in the month of ramadan) Also you must read the quran the words of Allah.(Like the Bible)
i know islam is a real religion (i dont personally believe in it). All the hating to Islam is the radicals that blow themselves up to get 2 paradise. Also its more of a male religion and people are mistreated a lot.
Just so u know im not against islam im against the crazy extremests that are killing people i know.(i live at a military base)
Yeah thats true but its not all Muslims are extremists. And by the way you only go to heaven if your a mardyer who died in a war or battle not if you died just wanting to kill someone. In fact those people stay in hell for a long time. All this is in the quran.
oh yeah and since you live in a military base may allah convert you to islam and protect you if any attacks are on the place. (Allah forbid that from happening)
Islam is a fairly new religion. Many statements of the Qua ran contradict themselves, and in one passage 'Allah' says to protect woman and children and an other passage he says to 'Kill all the infidels'. Seems like a confusing and contradictory religion to me.
I believe Jesus was the most high prophet (& God) and he will judge 'Mohammad' one day for his false teachings.
yes thats true and they have the right to prctice it in the us, but I've read stories in the news about fathers who have killed their daughters for not wearing headresses in public
I don't think religion should be discussed in forums, it's too problematic. Stereotypes and stuff. Each one has a right to believe in whatever they want and to not be critisiced for doing so.
I believe in Catholicism, but I also believe all the other religions fit in with it. It has to make sense, and they're all parts of a gigantic puzzle that is us.
