Since I have joined Armorgams . . .I see a lot of Atheists and their threads about why people believe in God etc . . . I wanted to start a thread about the bible and christianity.

The purpose of this thread is to debate a different book of the bible each week. We will discuss lessons, morals, and different stories.

We will have friendly debates. Please . . . if you are atheist or of other beliefs . . . you may discuss in this thread, just PLEASE no fighting, flaming, spamming, trolling . . . etc

This week we will begin from the beginning . . . .Genesis

I've read a lot of the Bible. Mostly New Testament, though I've read a lot of the Old Testament too. Mostly through websites.

I never did read the story of Jonah and the whale or Samson and Delilah, though. . .I should.

I also saw a veggie tales story about Joseph. The sad thing is that we watched this in a high school Old Testament class.

But that would mean all Buddhists are Hindus because the Buddha was originally a Hindu prince.

Generally prophets like Jesus and the Buddha don't follow the same religion in which their followers do. Otherwise, religion would tie itself up in a knot...

FAIL, sorry Mr. Man but I love doing this to people! Epic fail...being Christian is believing Jesus is the Messiah and God's son. Jesus was a Jew cause there was no Messiah or an older brother he had lol.

That was mean. But true. Very true. In fact, I've never thought of that before.

I agree with you guys . . .Revelation is a very tricky book to decipher. I know this is kind of weird considering this is a thread about Christianity . . . but I saw the omen . . . and in the beginning, they give a lot of good examples of what they think have already occurred . . .(considering the seven horsemen) "Light from the sky etc . . .

I don't know which shuttle it was (I think Columbia?), but it burned and fell from the sky . . .
