I personaly believe that people can do whatever they want in their own time but don't interupt my straightness and falliure to obtain the women I want.
So I don't need a gays help to fail basically

Why is it fair that they should have to vote to give a basic right to one group of people that the other group already has.

Quite a few states in America already allow gay marriage(Massachusetts, Iowa, Connecticut, Vermont as of September 1st, and possibly Maine) I don't know why people make such a big deal about it. If between two people getting married there are 2 penises, one penis, or none at all, it shouldn't really matter

i personally dont see what all the fuss is about. but i realize eventually they'll allow gay marriage.

I would guess it's based off of the religions that were formed long ago, where there were penalties for being gay and showing it, I don't think it should matter anymore though, the only people that are against it are either gay themselves and dont realize it, or theyre just prejudice

honestly i dont get why they need too get married, they can just be together, but whatever, its most likely the reasons helrayser said anyway.

And at best my advice on the subject would be too never make a federal law about this, so that in 1 state it could be legal and in another illegal.

Eventually gay rights ISN'T going to be an issue. Whenever there is a civil rights movement there are always people trying to stop it, but the other side usually has some secret weapons.... open-mindedness from others and a lot of support from their own minority.

You were able to see this with the women's rights movement and the race minorities civil rights movement... and our generation's movement? Gay rights.

It's just history repeating itself my friends and if you can learn something from history is that closed-mindedness and old ideas lose when facing open-mindedness and new ideas
