I personally do think there will be. And as far as this "war on terrorism" goes it might lead to WW3. I want to know what you guys/girls know. And keep to the rules.
I hope there is going to be a WW3. Because if there is I am enlisting in the army and I will just kill every single bad guy that we are versing! I would love to do that. Not like Iraq when they just hide and then sneak attack and commit suicide out of nowhere they are so dumb to do that! Those dang terrorists with 9/11 and all! But I like wars that they just collide with swords and shields and guns and stuff like that! That would be awesome I would use just a shield that can take bullets and a sword and be a Spartan!!! ! Karoc, halo books/games takes place in 2530-255somthing, so shields arnt invented that regenerate or take bullets, and becoming a spartan, you have to take steroids, and 70% of the spartan people got wierd side effects or permanent effects that didnt let them go to war, so there is a 30% chance of you being a spartan.

Anyway, Spartans never took Steroids, I don't know what the heck your talking about. Spartans were people that started living military at age 7. Theres even a time where they had to put a fox down their shirt, and let it claw until it leaves. [you lie down] and if you scream and beg your essentially screwed.
Anywya, Apart from that ww3 is going to crack out. Its like when you play an Arm Wrestle. For the time being Americas rise was like the time you take to put your Arm up, right? [Well, this arm up went REALLY slow]. Once the arm wrestling has started, for a while America did great and the other arm went back, but if you look at the Arm Wrestle on the WAR side, its basically like 2 arms not moving. but you don't have unlimited energy. One will crack. We are in that moment. That crack will grow and when the other hand is slowly push down.. All hell with break loose.
WW1 was the great war thankx to technology and how much people feared it in wrong hands. WW2 bombs out and they see how bad People can just be. Ww3 comes out they'll see Technology at its best, with People fighting at their best.
maybe, if we dont have a WW3 then we will have a IW1, standing for intergalactic war between earth and probobly mars, point is we shall always have wars, and always have huge wars, whether we are past the point of earth or not.
WW3 will happen eventually, it doesn't matter how but it will happen. But would there be any full-scale war be named WW3 in the future? They may not name the war WW3 but I don't see any reason why WW3 would be named WW3. When will there be WW3?

you can never predict there is going to be a war on such a huge scale that it can be called a world war not even till the last moments as you can see in the past even at 1939 there was a peace treaty made between britain and germany yet the war started at the same year
strategy, this isnt a world war... only the U.K. and the U.S. are in it BUT back to the subject world war 3 might start if korea attacks the U.S. and the sides might roughly look like this: US side: U.K. france italy south korea japan germany(maybe) North koreas side: russia china (remember the korean war)
