I personally do think there will be. And as far as this "war on terrorism" goes it might lead to WW3. I want to know what you guys/girls know. And keep to the rules.
If there was a WW3, I think that it might be between two great economic powers over something like oil. Let's say, for example, USA and China. One is democratic Capitolist, and the other is Communist Socialist. Not to mention, also the two greatest oil consumers on the planet. America is fueled by a hatred of communists. Just look in the history. The major flaw in there being a WW3 is that I think that governments are too smart to go into war with a big economic power. There would be too much devastation both economically (America's in a 30 trillion dollar debt right now in the first place,) and humanely. Let's compare the two. China- the most populous nation, versus America, the biggest military power in the world. You'd also have to factor in who attacks first, and the allies of each country. Personally, I think that the war would go on for so long, that one country would become desperate, and start launching nukes. That would go on forever, and we'd all be blowing each other up so much, that I think that we'd end the human race. The end.

China invades a small country. It is a trap. America, of course, heads over there to check things out. China bombs the troops there. Now we have a war between the US and China. China gets some allies and waits. America invades China is taken out. Now America is weak so China and allies invade. The UN finally takes notice to China's power. China now has two territories and their own country. Slowly, China takes out the other countries. China becomes a world power and basically the king of the world. The end.
Nuclear bombs will not be used because the radioactivity would eventually kill them anyways.
Intresting but I'm guessing America will do what it did in WW2 and launch a NUKE at China , and then some one will bomb America , and so on , thus , as I said , the WW3 will be fought with bombs and WW4 will be fought with stones and swords , because the bombs would have destroyed everything =p
