A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

Two old friends meet on the street after years of not seeing each other.
-Sooooo, what've you been up to? -Not much, not much...And you? -Same as always, same as always... -So, I heard greenpeace did some freaky stuff... -Yeah, good thing the weather was fine! -Yeah, the weather's okay these days... -A bit rainy here and there but... -But... -Ummm, see ya...
I guess I'm judge until Avorne or Fallensky wants to take up the reins again.
I'm on paid vacation for a while. Might get back to it in a week or two, of course I wouldn't mind if Avorne wanted to judge. When I'll come back I'll take full responsibility as a judge, meaning I'll be the judge most of the time. I'll still be asking regulars to try their hands at it though, because taking turn judging thaught me one thing; that it is always nice to have different opinions for your work. In any case, let Freak be the judge this time around again, unless Av steps up of course. If another notorious regular here like wolf or enter for example wishes to do it, he's free to notify me on my profile.
And so it seems Freak will judge since Avorne has gone missing. Seeing how the last judging was a little late - my bad sorry - you're free to pick whichever date suits you the best.
