A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Love is from the heart Lighting all of your dark paths So you wont be lost.
I think we have a wrong-theme-case here. Seriously guys, even though I was a pretty late son of a judge, I managed to get the theme changed. Oh, don't mind me, I'm just having a little...lust for power.
Because it feels good to be the king! -The armorland bureau will send a crapload of cookie for that one-
Don't be mad at me, I was venting at the judges for not having noticed a mod to change the theme; it's not your fault. I think the actual theme is ''derailment''...
If this is something like a 10 day thing, they might as well change it to a 15 day thing, since that's how long the judging takes.
It's actually a five day contest. Frank judged the last one on February 22nd and gave the judge title to Orion. The last day for submitting a haiku was on the 27th. Judging was supposed to take place on the 28th.
Haha thank you Every judge we've had, and i'm not blaming Orion or anyone else, has seem to have the bad luck of not being able to judge on time. It must be some sort of curse...THE CURSE OF THE HAIKU CONTEST JUDGES -dramatic music and lightning occurs in background- oh well, patience is a virtue I suppose.
Is this seriously the new theme? haha, well ok then here we go:
-I should have seen it coming- Sneaking out at night Not answering my phone calls. why would she leave me!?
