A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Did you really not have a problem or two with judging on time? Or are you that perfect ;P
Hearts was the theme I judged. Derailment is still the theme of choice.
Ahaha I can see why you would think i'm still talking about the theme being Hearts, but as Endscape has said "I should really have seen it coming...." was what was said to be the new theme, on page 297.
...maybe just maybe it might be time to add judges and maybe take regular turns as judges...
Been there, done that, doesn't work. See, judges are naturally lazy. It doesn't matter really.
It would be nice to have consistent judges, judges that judge when they say they will judge, when it's actually supposed to be judged.
I wanted to be consistent. D:
Anyways, I'm back for a while at least. I do sincerely apologize for the long anxious wait, and I'll have the Haikus judged as soon as possible, most likely by tonight and at the latest tomorrow morning.
