Is a shovel evil? Are rakes responsible for you stepping on them and hitting you in the face? Do toliets mesmerize people? No. Guns are no different, they are just tools, it depends on how you use them. Even if some mass murderer got ahold of an ak-47 or something, that doesn't make an ak-47 bad, it just means that's what the guy chose to kill people with. Might as well just call everything but ourselves responsible for everything, which I know people who do that anyways, and trust me, they don't sound too smart when they start complaining how it was the stairs fault that they fell and broke their arm...
This kinda a really stupid argument, objects aren't bad, it's what's done with them that's bad and the person who is holding/controlling the object, the thing is that a few objects have no good use other than to do harm, nukes for example can't do anything but kill people.
Guns on the other hand have quite a few other uses, I could make a huge list of other uses, first off I'll say target shooting, it's just for the fun off it, and it can be really fun actually, also I enjoy hunting(Pheasants) (Note:For those of you who are anti-hunting, you can hunt without guns, there is still go bow hunting...) Also they are used in packing plants, to kill the cows, now you might think, "Wow that's cruel to shoot a cow in the head" Your wrong, I personally would prefer to die by being shot in the head then to have my throat cut. Lastly, if you live in the country "which obviously you don't if your anti-guns" You can shoot raccoons which aren't very fun to have around most of the time, but most of the time you can trap them, but if you catch a skunk instead of a raccoon your screwed if you have to let it go without killing it from a distance...
Anyways to the main point, taking guns away from the law abiding citizens isn't solving the problem, I can promise you that any crook/murder wouldn't turn in their gun, and guns would still be easy enough for a crook to get a hold of to do some dirty work.
But anyways not everyone looks at guns the same way, when I think about guns what first comes to my mind is a simple .22, 7mm or a pump shotgun, you might be thinking like and uzi, 50. sniper rifle, or an ak47...
*Sigh* Guns are ok to use if you have Permisson from someone to kill some one with it who can actully give you permisson like Barrack Obama or Gordan Brown them.Not some Gangster/Plazie Gangster who things he's hard. Guns should only be used for a war which is not a war with kids a war with Soilders fighting like the Afgahn war. It is wrong to use guns on the streets because when you kill someone you are acting just like a Terrirost which is wrong. Knife crime is the worst many teens each year are being killed/injured by knife crime. Carry a knife, Get knifed yourself. Don't Carry Knives and Guns!

Invalid Argument. The shovel was made to lift dirt from the floor, and you along with I both know that the Gun was not made for the same purpose, let alone having any involvement in the recreational/economical improvement in life for the human being by what it does/what happens when used for the correct reason.
That being said, I'd like to say that I'm Pro-War, since humans will always fight -- There's only one way to slow them down. Have you noticed the world is relatively peaceful than it ever has been before? This is due to the fact that people can die easier, Guns are helpful. They are helpful. They aren't good, they are bad. But all in all they are helpful.

if guns are made illegal there would still be armed robbery, there would still be pointless shootings. the only people that wouldn't have guns are those who are law abiding citizens. if you think guns couldnt make it into america if they were illegal you are completely ignorant. marijuana is illegal and yet i can take a short drive and get some, prostitution is illegal and yet i can take a short drive and "get some". the only danger is that which is left to law abiding citizens from the scum that walk the streets and just a fun fact, The 31 states that have "shall issue" laws allowing private citizens to carry concealed weapons have, on average, a 24 percent lower violent crime rate, a 19 percent lower murder rate and a 39 percent lower robbery rate than states that forbid concealed weapons.
