Not really, seeing has 2012 is fake... I highly doubt anything of real note will happen on December 21st.

Not to be prejudice, but just because the bible says it, doesn't mean anything. I have no religion, so I can be completely unbiased as I say this. Many different religions have predicted it, as well as many Fortune Tellers and things of that sort. Also, December 21st, 2012(the day the world is supposedly going to end) is the last day of the Ancient Aztec and Mayan Calenders. Either was, science has proven that something big is going to happen in 2012, or early 2013, whether you like it or not.

well, the whole planet's align thing, its an awesome thing to live in, considering it happens rarely, and it might have some scientifical stuff going on, but that doesn't mean the end of the world.

ya the world ending thing is wrong. somethings gonna happen but its not gonna be life threatening.

then again, if the planets align, maybe the stars will be right for CTHLUHU to awaken.

Hey eridor, you do realise that the Mayan Calander actually ends in 2060, and that is only because the Mayans realized that their civilization couldn't last that long into the future.

I agree that the world probably won't end in 2012.... but not because "oh the bible doesn't say that so it can't be right" >.> the bible says a lot of things...

the world COULD end in 2012 but it could also end any other day before or after that. we don't know and neither does "God" because what you all call God is inside of your own dam* minds >.>

Also, I looked on the website you provided, Eridor, and all it talks about are solar storms. Solar storms might bring sattilites down, and knock power out, but it's nothing that predicts the end of the world.

the bible actually says the world will end in the New Era, which is in 2050

God didn't predict that the world would end in 2012. Scientists say that some solar event is going to happen or something. But look at this stupid site I found.

they're setting up a lottery of people to save in 2012 when the world "ends"

Well, I don't believe in it.
It has Already been wrong many times.
They said the same thing was going to happen in 2000 AD and 1000 AD. Why should that be right? Do you believe in computers?
Also, Some ancient peaple's calendary's end does not mean ours.

Um, sorry, but you aren't right. The Mayan Calender ends on 12/21/12, the day of the Winter Solstice. at 11:11PM, Universal time, the Sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way, for the first time in around 26,000 years. This means, that whatever happens between the Milky Way and the Earth, will be disrupted, end of story. Whether 2012 is true or not, no one knows. You can't say it's 100% false, and you can't say it's 100% true, because until it happens, it all comes down to science and opinions.
