No, it isn't. You cannot, cannot say it is impossible. Everyone in this thread is just narrow-minded. Something can, and might, happen.
Also, I looked on the website you provided, Eridor, and all it talks about are solar storms. Solar storms might bring sattilites down, and knock power out, but it's nothing that predicts the end of the world.
Then you need to do more than look, try reading, all of it, and watching the videos.
Think of it this way, one happened before, and it completely took out the telegraph, which was all they had. This caused enough problems on it's own. Nowadays, take out satellites. You lose: Phones, TV, Internet, Communication, etc. Now, take out electricity all together. This will cause chaos. The world is far to dependent on electricity and technology. People will obviously start riots and the like, which will be one problem. Add in muggings, thefts, assaults, all that, and the world is pretty much screwed. While that may not be the end, it is still proving that something can happen.
Also, anything the bible says really shouldn't even be brought up much. The bible has been wrong many times before, and it will be wrong many more times. At least the Aztecs and Mayans have proof, where as you can't prove God was/is real.
