Strop made a thread about this a long time ago, but I couldn't find it. Even if I did, I would get yelled at for raising the dead, so lets just continue conversation here.

You guys may not understand what I'm trying to ask, but it's okay. I'll try to explain.

Do you think God, If there is one, would allow a person to go back in time and change history?

This thread is mostly for Christians, but you atheist may join in too. Since I'm an atheist I think this will be interesting.

That is funny since we are talking about something that isn't true.

Are you saying time travel does not exist?

The past is the past, it is what was meant to happen. You might travel back in time to stop somebody from doing something evil, but YOU might actually be the reason that that certain person did the evil action. When you travel back in time, you have already done it before, try and figure that one out.

I do not fully understand that . . . If I go back in time to stop some random guy doing some random thing, I have only been back in time once. He takes his actions before time travel has been invented, so I was not there when it happened the first time, but as soon as I go back I completely change the scenario.

Like you say, time travel is just a theory, so we may not ever agree on this.

I think super robots are closer to reality to be honest.

And to everything else, it just hurts my head to even think about lol. Parallel universes also fit into this conversation, but my brain hurts to much to even discuss them.

Whoever this "God" guy is, I'm sure he'd be okay with it if you just asked his permission.

Universe means everything. You cannot have multiple Universes if this is the Universe. Even if 'arallel Universes' do exist I do not see how they'd play a role in time travel.

Super robots are definitely closer to reality.

That has to be the most logical solution on this thread.
