We've updating Colony to version 2.0 right now. Here will be the changes in the update:
New Buildings and Units
With the war in Athenia still raging on, all the governments have been pushed to develop new technologies. As casualties pile up, the Hospitals have been forced to upgrade into War Sanctums to cope with the number of bodies being rushed into Emergency Care every hour.
The Saint watches over the sky and proves a fearsome guardian over the city. New Far-Range sniper rifles have been developed to siege enemy forces from a great distance. The prototype android, A27-Pride is now in mass production to provide support fire.
New Game Mechanics
The game should run a little bit smoother now, and allow you to reach up to Rank 10 on multiplayer. A lot of rebalancing has been done on existing units, especially the Sakata and the Groditz. You can also now double click a unit to select all units of that type.

I'm still working on an anti hack system, and the Fox server has been programmed into the game (we just don't have the server yet). Expect there to be a string of smaller updates throughout this week as we put in additional features little by little
yeah i like the targeting idea but it can be hard to click on stuff when its mobbed up. maybe you could drag a box around the enemy and tell your forces to target that area
Hm a sea next to the battle field would be awesome... wait i have a great idea!!! It would take forever to make and wuld probably have to be in a colony 2. 3 different types of battlefield ocean, land, and air (or combos of them) You can zoom out of the battlefield and loot at it from a birds eye view. The battle field is 3x bigger, has lanes but arnt the same as they are in 1944, and can spread them out longer across the field. and can make a group of 10 tanks or so at a time. and can make turrets and stuff like jdoggparty said
If you had 150 manpower, and 50 energy, you could send 5 at a time and they could load the same speed. Or 3 at a time. And you could do this for all units.
If the towers had to be built on a building slot, then it would be fair, since you're hurting your economy for the boost. Personally, I think I'd rather have the resource building instead of the tower because more units > 20% boost.
