I do not feel very comfortable around homosexual people, I feel like there out to get my bum haha. I really dont understand why i feel like this, whenever i spot a homo i stay as far away as i can. I feel homophobia is just a natural reaction to something you dont like, for example snakes or spiders its just a phobia. I think that this phobia will never go away in alot of people, just because its natural. Although many people over come their phobias. What do ou all think of homophobia or phobias at all?
Zerato dont start it lol. Not gonna turn out pretty. I know, I tried >_>
Well, you tried to say homosexuals were retards that basically should be gone. I think there is a tad difference. It is fine to have your opinion about people but you should probably keep it to yourself if it will hurt others.
im heterosexual no im not gay god no, no its not "in you" its a choice
It can't be a choice. When you grow up, your parents don't tell you that boys and girls should be together. The hormones in your body make you attracted to either males or females.
We support all views here, as long as you have a way to defend it. Just saying 'Gay is a choice' is going to get shot down because it has not evidence listed with it. Sounds more like an opinion than actual science to me.
Oh Carlie I had 6 pages of arguments >_> Good for someone who doesn't have any scientific knowledge on the topic.
Yes i bit my lip when i hit post because i realized right then disorder was the wrong word. But it was to late. (This just adds on to the many reasons why we should have a post edit thing).
I think homosexuality is a choice, you are not born gay.
It isn't lol. I have to laugh just because people either say we choose to be gay or we are mentally ill. I can say to someone quite clearly, "I did not choose to be gay. I am not straight, I do not like men."
It's funny because we all say one thing and people block their ears and say, no no you chose to be that way. Maybe they we're all lying or something, I don't know.
What if a gay person ie. me tells you that it had nothing to do with life experience that it's just something you know that you are since you where a child. The actually life experience of most gay people is that make some attempt throughout their to "turn straight." Especially as teens. If it truly was a choice there would be a lot less gays in the world.
I'll say it again, the reason behind a lot of homophobia is that people seem to truly think we are bringing it on ourselves because we want to be different or something. Which science is slowly proving is silly.
Maybe because that is the truth? I don't get how you can judge someone like that and just know why when you have never actually talked with a homosexual. Before you judge someone, make sure you have facts to back you up, rather than just your opinion.
What if they were never really gay in the first place? So they just confirm that there gay.
What? Are you trying to say people fake being homosexual?
