I do not feel very comfortable around homosexual people, I feel like there out to get my bum haha. I really dont understand why i feel like this, whenever i spot a homo i stay as far away as i can. I feel homophobia is just a natural reaction to something you dont like, for example snakes or spiders its just a phobia. I think that this phobia will never go away in alot of people, just because its natural. Although many people over come their phobias. What do ou all think of homophobia or phobias at all?

Maybe because that is the truth? I don't get how you can judge someone like that and just know why when you have never actually talked with a homosexual. Before you judge someone, make sure you have facts to back you up, rather than just your opinion.

What if they were never really gay in the first place?
So they just confirm that there gay.

What? Are you trying to say people fake being homosexual?

Rofl no.

As in, they think there gay in their teenage years when they are actually not.
They think something is wrong with them so they try to turn themselves straight. They fail, because nothing is wrong with them, so they just confirm that there gay. And from that point they act differently.

Which explains the squeky voices. You cant tell me hormones make you sound like that -.-

I just do not believe in their morals and other things like their standards of life

So you are a nihilist?
High five!

There are heterosexuals who have weird voices. Yes, there are some homosexuals with annoying voices but there are also heterosexuals with annoying voices/laughs.

No one should determine their sexuality in their teenage years. Plain and simple. I mean you can say you are straight but hormones are really going during the teenage years because of puberty and all that jazz. I understand what you are saying but that is not the same for all homosexuals. There are some who are just born that way while others may develop throughout life, affections for someone of the same sex.

Its a quite simple thing to determine, not that I'm going to explain...

I understand what you are saying but that is not the same for all homosexuals.

How come? I need some evidence. And how do hormones affect your though?
How do you realize you are a homosexual?

Might be a silly question but I want an answer >_>

I see this show on T.V. It was talking about two twins, one was a homosexual and the other was not. They were just about 6 years old!
Well it was actually that one of them liked girly things and the other not.

I think it was a fake. Theres lot of people who lie just for money >_>
Anyways, can one of the twins be a homosexual and the other not?

That's like asking you how you knew you were straight. What I was talking about was denial. Do you you know what the suicide and attempted suicide rate amongst gay and transgendered teens is? Some kids think there is something wrong with them. They have people who scream at them that homosexuality is a choice so they try to change themselves. Some people try for many years. Even to the point of getting married and having kids.

No one thinks they are gay. Nobody wakes up one morning and sets out to test if they are gay.

And from that point they act differently.

What exactly do you mean by they act different?

Actually, there are many people who feel insecure about their sexuality during their teenage years. This can cause homophobia because they are afraid that they might become a homosexual. Now, I am not saying everyone turns out homosexual when they are homophobic but there are many and Ash even showed about 73%.

How come? I need some evidence. And how do hormones affect your though?

This is good.

How do you realize you are a homosexual?

That is a really silly question. How do you realize you are heterosexual? It is just who you are attracted to whether it be men or women.

I think it was a fake. Theres lot of people who lie just for money >_>

How would they get money? Well, even if they did, who cares?

Anyways, can one of the twins be a homosexual and the other not?

Well, even identical twins do not have 100% same genes. The genes can express themselves differently so it is possible. Homosexuality with one twin and not the other is more likely in fraternal twins since the genes are even less identical.

The squeaky voice for one.

They have people who scream at them that homosexuality is a choice so they try to change themselves.

I'm talking about when they first discover it. No one else knows about it yet.

That's like asking you how you knew you were straight.

I'm straight because I have not had any moments where I doubted my sexuality and realized I was lying to myself there.

If you look too much for anything you will find it. If you even begin to doubt that you are gay. You will continuously find evidence against yourself and at some point you cant deny it.

I'm telling you from this experience. Not that I doubted my sexuality like that but with numbers...yes numbers.
I used to always see the number 101. It was everywhere! Why, was it something divine? Not at all, it was just that I was looking for the number.

I tested this myself. After I stopped seeing that number. I decided to just try and see what happens if I look for the number 69. Pretty much the same thing...

And I don't mean I looked in a math book and anywhere that had numbers. Not sure how to explain it.

Heh >_>

Science cannot prove things so easily. For 1300 years people though the Earth was flat. Sure it wasn't real science, but who says that in a million years people will consider this science?
There is just so many things &quotroven" by science. I can go against all of them.

Sure we have technology...
but we put too much faint in one or two studies.

Read the second comment on that site you gave me Total.

You still don't answer the question. Just because you haven't doubted your sexuality doesn't mean you automatically heterosexual. Here is an example. You know you love pepperonis on your pizza. However, there is the option of sausage on your pizza. You have never tried sausage on your pizza so how can you know it is not better than the pepperoni?

Not all gay males have high pitched voices, maybe just ones you met and the tv stereotypes. And as was pointed out lots of straight people have funny ways of speaking.

Okay then. I have never doubted my sexuality either. Not once. No one doubts their sexuality but some people are in denial. When you are faced with the prospect of being hated and feared for the rest of your life and possibly even losing the love of your family, some people find it easier to be unhappy. Which is why you see so many older people come out. You can only take living a lie for so long.

I seen homosexuals in real life. And yes there is straights that have a funny way of speaking, but I think if I asked anyone I suspected of being a homosexual because of their voice, I'd be right.

You know you love pepperonis on your pizza. However, there is the option of sausage on your pizza. You have never tried sausage on your pizza so how can you know it is not better than the pepperoni?

???
I'm sorry but I don't think that analogy relates.

Just because you haven't doubted your sexuality doesn't mean you automatically heterosexual.

I said I did, but I didn't continue to think about it.
And yes I believe it does.
You go with society, and you turn gay fearing that you might be gay.

Its what I believe, and I can be wrong.
I think its something worth arguing though, and so I shall continue.

Congrats, we are a hard group to spot in the daylight :P Just having a bit of fun with you.

You really think people would choose to make their life harder by intentionally making themselves a hated minority? You think people are afraid to be gay so they turn gay?

I agree with TotalReview (not a first). I thought for sure I was 100% straight even though I never hated a gay person for being gay a day in my life. I am perfectly fine with all groups of people and I don't have any prejudice. But I have been attracted to a male before and have had sexual experiences outside of a heterosexual experience. It wasn't my favorite thing because I did not feel the attraction, but for what it was, it was pleasurable. So what about bisexuals? Does everyone hate them because some of the time they like guys?
