Think about it, what is religion? The belief in something that cannot be proven, that has many, many things that as of yet we have found impossible, and in many people, it is unshakeable. Now I am not saying that all religious people are going to go kill someone or end up in an assylum, but think, in every religion, the basis is something that cannot be know, but is only faith. Faith in something that could turn out to be wrong, faith in something that you have absolutely no way of knowing. Also, think how many of these religions started, some person got a message from a "god" that told them what to do. Don't go crazy on me, I just want people to think about it.
That makes me want to punch you in the face. Not all atheists kill and molest, neither do Christians, or any other religion for that matter. Atheists do not do bad things because they know there's no god, they do it because they want to.
Please explain how that contributes to the debate.
Atheism isn't a religion or anything organized so it's impossible for it to be corrupt.... how in your mind is it corrupt?

At my school. Atheists get all this crap. I mind my own business and yet I am ostracized to some people because I am with out a God. They try to tell me that I'm going to Hell, and I smile at their ignorance. I tell them WHY I am one, they get really quiet and say an insult and leave me. I'm mean because I have a different expalination than you?

This debate is getting on my nerves. All I'm seeing is people going on in a circualr argument.
Does religion equal insanity? NO If anything, religion is there to keep people sane. Not everyone needs something to believe in (I do) and I understand that.
