Think about it, what is religion? The belief in something that cannot be proven, that has many, many things that as of yet we have found impossible, and in many people, it is unshakeable. Now I am not saying that all religious people are going to go kill someone or end up in an assylum, but think, in every religion, the basis is something that cannot be know, but is only faith. Faith in something that could turn out to be wrong, faith in something that you have absolutely no way of knowing. Also, think how many of these religions started, some person got a message from a "god" that told them what to do. Don't go crazy on me, I just want people to think about it.
I went to Catholic school until high school. It's a fact that people do what I described. When they say God does one thing for believers and you name an instance when the opposite happens, then they say "well, God had a plan for them." You CANT possibly argue that kind of logic. It's impossible.
Uh, yep, and that's pretty much what it says. God will protect you if you follow him and others die because that's how he planned it, but in that case, he planned for the person to NOT follow him, and that doesn't make much sense, now does it. So, either god is crazy or likes people going to. I just thought of something, the bible says that god made us in his image. That's pretty conceited of humans to think that god created us to look like him. Vanity much.

Oh, in school, I was 1 out of 2 people who weren't baptized in my class of about 28 people. During religion class, all the baptized students asked questions about God that I felt were painfully obvious. Every time they asked a question, my answer would be the same as the teacher's answer. I understood God more than the kids forced to go to church every Sunday!

Sure. Would you believe me if I said God told me to tell you to love him?
Then this just proves my point that I can lie like any other person, say god talked to me, and have people follow. Yes, I would believe you if you thought god told you because from your previous posts you are obvioulsy very religious and it is in the bible to "love thy neighbors"

Thank you. Why do you make a point of the fact you can lie?
Every time you ask a new question, you take someone's answer to a previous question you asked and apply it to your new question and say "this doesn't make sense." Of course it doesn't make sense, you took an answer to a different question and acted like that was the given answer for your new question!
Because if I can lie and get you to believe me, then would it not have been possible for others to do so as well? Im not a very influential person in my experience, so someone else would have a very easy time of doing it.
