Think about it, what is religion? The belief in something that cannot be proven, that has many, many things that as of yet we have found impossible, and in many people, it is unshakeable. Now I am not saying that all religious people are going to go kill someone or end up in an assylum, but think, in every religion, the basis is something that cannot be know, but is only faith. Faith in something that could turn out to be wrong, faith in something that you have absolutely no way of knowing. Also, think how many of these religions started, some person got a message from a "god" that told them what to do. Don't go crazy on me, I just want people to think about it.

Why do you keep changing your views? Was that comment sarcasm? Sarcasm doesn't go over well over the internet.

How am I changing my views?

Let me get this straight. You dislike atheists because you think they're child molesting murderers?

Incorrect. My comment was rebuttal to false stereotyping by I think Frosty.

If give me a youtube video or some kind of evidence that shows a theist and an atheist being injected with the same kind and the same amount of venom

The Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit infuses believers with protection so their could handle serpents. It doesn't say anything about being injected. So whatever, if your serious then you have to use what the Bible says, simple as that, go find some serpents and you'll see the atheist getting sick or just falling dead when the Christian is unharmed.

In the other part I tried to find some youtube videos that you wanted and so far just found this medical experiment that tested this same sentence in the Bible.

Acts 28:3-6

3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand.

4 When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they began saying to one another, 'Undoubtedly this man is a murderer, and though he has been saved from the sea, justice has not allowed him to live.'

5 However he shook the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.

6 But they were expecting that he was about to swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had waited a long time and had seen nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god.

Mark 16:17-18

17 These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Scientists find the Holy Spirit's Footprints

The next is a old video so it's hard to see but you can see this one guy burns his feet and I counted to 30, then he burns his face and I counted to 15. Only his skin doesn't get burnt cause he believes in the the Holy Spirit! You can also see it looks like someone is kissing a rattler?

Then don't present if if you won't back it up.

Don't talk about God because YOU can't back it up. You don't back up ANY PROOF WHAT SO EVAR AT ALL IN ANY FORM that God exists. But then you say "well, at least we have an idea of how the Earth was created." and when I say "We have an idea too called Big Bang Theory" you reject our idea by saying we can't prove it when YOU can't prove your idea.

Stop it.

Oh my, that person is praying, he must be a religious maniac who will suicide bomb and ****!

That's what you are doing when you talk about Earth's creation. You don't know how it happened so you say "God just did it."

No, atheists say " Who cares what I do, there's no God so I can kill and molest! La de da de da, let's go bash some Christians!

Most atheists (people in general, Christians and non-Christians) are good people in general. Don't apply false stereotypes to atheists. Atheists are not bad people just because they don't believe in God.

As I said before, I never said I was atheist. However, you must question your beliefs so that you may truly know that you agree with what you believe in.

If anything, religion is there to keep people sane

Fanatics?

Um, okay. God is real. The End.

How do you know, and I mean more than just a "feeling" because if he was real, I would think that he would talk to his followers, not just expect blind faith.

Do you have "just a feeling" that he doesn't exist?

He did talk to his followers, have you ever read the bible?

People question modern day books in every imaginable fashion, but somehow there are millions of those critics following multiple books complied about 1900 years ago, many with no standing other than, "I knew jesus" How can you accept that, but not others opinions, eve if you say you do.

Heh, notice something? People only claimed he talked to them when they had a leader, jesus. Mob mentality. Just follow the leader with no thoughts and all will be well.

??? No, the belief in something keeps them going. The idea that there is something after death, etc.

Why does it have to be bitten? Biologically the same thing is happening: Venom is going into your blood stream. I fail to see why God only protects his followers from BITES, and not the VENOM which comes from the bites.

There is a whole process to coal walking. If you put water on your feet first you greatly reduce the burns because water has such a high high capacity per mol. If you are using WOOD coals, wood has a poor heat conductivity, both of them put together and you can walk on fire for a long time...

Also; The Bible is not a book for scientific reference thank you.

Holocaust.

This is what happens. People who believe in God are protected by God, but when someone who believes in God is killed or hurt very badly then it was God's will. So no matter what happens, God somehow intervenes and must exist. There is nothing that can happen to disprove God with this kind of logic. Someone lives, it's because of God. If someone dies, it's because of God.

No matter what, it's because of God. So what kind of thing must happen to prove God doesn't exist? Nothing, because no matter what you associate it with God.

For every instance a Christian lives and an atheist dies, there's an atheist who lives and a Christian who dies. The first one, the Christian was protected; the second one, it was God's plan. It's a check mate. No matter what is said, something can be said to explain God's existence (but that doesn't mean it's true).

I've called the pope an idiot and I am still alive and well. I have stopped praying and even told people that I am an atheist (for the hell of it, not necessarily true). My life is getting better without religion. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's because I'm focussed on living rather than praying, or maybe God is cutting me some slack because I help people. I don't know. I'm not going to pretend that I know for sure either.

I have trouble understanding how you could think billions of people could follow a lie?

I bet you would believe in magic and card tricks if your religion didn't specifically tell you they were false.

Quite easily. People are stupid and they believe many, many things. I could tell you that I was spoken to by god to question your faith, and the thing is, either you would believe me or you would doubt me, but then, you failed the test, because you have no way of knowing whether or not I am lying, so either you blindly accept what I say or you fail. See how that works?

Billions of people are atheists. How can you think billions of people can follow a lie? Just because a majority of people follow something, doesn't mean they believe it. Most of the world's population at one point in time believed the sun revolved around the Earth.

But yeah, billions of people are Christian, as well as atheists. So you can't say something is true just because a majority believes in it.
