Think about it, what is religion? The belief in something that cannot be proven, that has many, many things that as of yet we have found impossible, and in many people, it is unshakeable. Now I am not saying that all religious people are going to go kill someone or end up in an assylum, but think, in every religion, the basis is something that cannot be know, but is only faith. Faith in something that could turn out to be wrong, faith in something that you have absolutely no way of knowing. Also, think how many of these religions started, some person got a message from a "god" that told them what to do. Don't go crazy on me, I just want people to think about it.

In a way, but here's the thing. You already believe in god, and from the way you just phrased that, you were not spoken to by him. When you asked if I would believe you, I had several logical reasons to believe you, one, it's in your religion to, two, it's in your holy book. When I said if you would believe me if I said I was commanded to test you, you said you would believe me, but all I had done was say it. I'm just a random person that you have never met, and yet, you were willing to believe that I had been spoken to by some all powerful being. There's a big leap in logic there.

Don't you see something there? You put it back to god was involved. You don't seem to link that if I can do it, then why is it not in question that perhaps jesus christ invented christianity in an attempt to make people more friendly of each other? He would have needed something above himself so that he would not be doubted as trying to gain power. Im sure there was someone named jesus christ that started the whole christian religion, but im just not convinced that he was the son of god, born from a virgin, and died and was ressurected after 3 days and went to heaven alive.

There was not much to say about it. I can understand if you have trouble believing in all this, I can't make you believe.
