An Elephant is quite strong with it's powerful legs it can simply stop a human and with it's trunk, Sweep them away.

Personally i think about... 100 or more, There haven't been any reports of even a team of men killing an Elephant with their bare hands.

depnds if the elephant is asleep it would be less people, or if the elephant is trained or not

All's I'd need is a nice sharp Machete or a katana so i could jump onto its back (climb from the tail) and go to town on slicen and dicen its body stabbing its sides and the back of its neck...Its dead i win THE END
