I actually know of an answer to this peculier question. I'd just be interested to hear how many men you would think necessary and why (ie., how they would take it down ).
Forget about what i was posting...for that is no longer relevant.....ummmm awkward.............................it should only take about 200 people to lift a full grown elephant (changing the subject)
if you think about it, it could be a trick question, the elephant may have a weak spot (ears, used to cool down the elephant) the skin is thinner there, if you could some how damage the ears, the elephant's body would overheat. now you just need to know how many men it would take to do that.

It's ears are high up, and right next to the head. A baby elephant can send a full grown adult spiraling to the ground, let alone a fully grown adult bull.
