Global warming is real right? I mean the green house effect is real but there is so much controversy about if its man made or not, and even if it is man made will it kill us all. I think that it is man made and it will kill us all, but i want your opinion.
ok i have some flaws in my argument... alright a lot of flaws, ok first i meant to say do you want to be rich and dead or poor and alive, and also i said dont take offense to this because i got banned from this site for saying something bad about someone like this for like a week.
Argh! Not global warming! It's the biggest threat to human existence since forever! Aaaargh.
I think that it is real, but we've recorded natural cycles that slowly create hotter and colder times, and I think natural stuff (like volcanoes and the natural cycle) have a far bigger effect than anything us humans could do. We certainly contribute with our gas-guzzling monsters for cars, but the volcano fires more crap out into the atmosphere than the car could do in your and your child's lifetime. Yes, we could cut down on our carbon emissions, but global warming would still happen just not as quickly.
And dying from climate patterns? We survived a fricking Ice Age in bear skins and flint spears, today we have fans and central heating, the ultimate way to survive strange weather!
@Elitemagical wow i never thought of it that way, prob. bec. its stupid to think that way, think of catrina but all over the world, mostly, if the temp. keeps increasing at the rate that humans are causing it to increase the polar caps will melt A LOT. ok so the polar bears die and where under water not so bad, imagine china ok, really crowded right now imagine 10times worse than that in America bec. where mostly under water, farming would be eliminated and trade would be harder for there would be no products being created, massive rioting for lack of food and starving will reek america, but not that bad right?

-_- America will not be entirely flooded, there's some figure that something like 44% of North America is purely uninhabited wasteland. Places like Britain, scientists forecast no more than a few coasts going underwater, and whilst some islands and countries with glaciers will be pretty much screwed there's no way we'll all be forced to all squeeze into China.

Thanks, someone who can come up with a solution than just going 'we're all going to die!!!'. I like it. In WWII the Germans created submarines that worked like aircraft-carriers, so using them like a floating Anderson shelter is quite a nice idea. Living on a submarine would be pretty awesome too!

this is brilliant all we need to do is figure out how to put 6.5 billion people on submarines, do you have any idea how much ice there is that if it melts it will be disastrous, maybe not in a year but over a couple centuries where talking about massive death.

the receding of ice began around 1850, it's very difficult to associate the melting of ice caps with carbon dioxide.
actually ice was melting since the end of the ice age, it is now going to happen faster and more drastically
