Global warming is real right? I mean the green house effect is real but there is so much controversy about if its man made or not, and even if it is man made will it kill us all. I think that it is man made and it will kill us all, but i want your opinion.
Global Warming isn't real. Commander Dude7's video I agree with, they did fake numbers to make it seam that the tiny amount of CO2 and "greenhouse gas" humans emit was much larger. It is nothing compared to what the rest of the natural world emits.
Global warming is not real, the green house effect is though, it'll never get more than 5 degrees hotter than what it is. Look at the east coast of the United States, it got the heaviest snowfall than it has seen in years.
Based on semi-limited research, I disagree with the theory of global warming. Climate change is natural. Take for instance, the statement that Antarctica's ice is melting. It is, on one side, but it's increasing on the other side. However, I do think it is beneficial to humanity to limit our pollution and using of resources.
One problem I'm seeing with denying global warming. It would seem to require a claim of a global conspiracy theory, as 33 national science academies make this claim, 68 national and international science organizations make this claim, and 97% of active climate scientists make this claim. Now that doesn't mean they can't all be wrong. But it does seem to me there must be something leading these people to believe this. So the question is what is it? Global Warming Facts Man Made Climate Change in 7 Minutes
As for as I know global warming is a FACT. Nearly no scientist denies it. But there are some who say that it isn't man made. Some say that it's the sun. And yes, solar radiance has a large effect on the climate but the solar radiance nearly didn't change the last 20-30 years and the average temperature was rising.
Meh, Global Warming is the perfect argument. You have a hot summer, Its global warming. You have a cool summer, Its the Global Warming melting the ice caps and the cool air is rushing down. Even if there is global warming, I don't think that humans have enough "ower" to change earth's climate by pumping CO2 into the atmosphere. Perhaps we should all look at the sun because it is pumping more heat towards earth. Also, in the 70's wasn't there a scare that the world would fall into a second ice age?
Global warming is a convenient name that has come down to the public, but in scientific circles, we simply call it climate change, or we refer to the main source of the change, which is increasing carbon dioxide levels.

Again it's not based on localized temperatures but the over all global temperature. So a cooler or warmer summer is overall meaningless.

The more CO2 in the atmosphere the warmer the temperature gets. In the past we see CO2 levels lag behind temperature increase by about 800 years indicating CO2 being driven by temperature (higher the temp more the planet gives off CO2). So we have CO2 only helping along these warm periods rather then causing them. However in recent years we are seeing CO2 rising before the temperature. So this time the warming trend is being caused by the rise in CO2 rather then the other way around.
Perhaps we should all look at the sun because it is pumping more heat towards earth.
We have seen no significant change in solar output in recent years, as you can see in the graph provided grimml on page 24. In fact we even see a drop in the 80s and 90s.
Also, in the 70's wasn't there a scare that the world would fall into a second ice age?
Actually this was something that was just blown out of proportion by the media with very little scientific backing. We saw a cooling trend since 1945. However out of the scientific papers on climate trend extending to the 21 century only 10% of them were predicting this the other 90% predicted a global warming trend.
