some scientist believe that being "GAY" is because of gene defects, do you think it is being gay is -by decision - by gene - or u just don't care?

I didnt know gay was a verb, but now that you mention it, it does make sense.

It would be nice to have some links on this "gay gene", since if there are rumors of it, there should at least be research done on it.

I think that being gay is a personal shoice rather than you were just made that way.

I think homosexuality happens when too much estrogen is produced in a male body or too much testosterone in a female body. it may not be genetic, and it could very well be reversable.

Testosterone and Estrogen just contribute to the physicality of the individual, but I'm not too great on the reproductive sciences, so what I'm going to say is that there may be a link between the two.

not true. it also contributes to the thoughts of the individual, as well as the shape of their body. this may be why lesbians sometimes have similar body shapes as guys, or why a fair percentage of the gay population is shorter than the average hederosexual male.

It is most certainly not a choice. I'd also say a single gene causing homosexuality is unlikely.

I must also object to the OP's use of the word defect.

This would mean that two guys that are overloaded with estrogen would behave like chicks, and thus attracted to other guys. But of course, they would believe that they are chicks, and would not be compatible together, thus making them lesbians.

No, I think it has something to do with the structure of the brain.

the "GAY" gene is referd to as a defective gene bec. it is non-reproductive, gay's are a minority bec. they wont reproduce, therefore spreading that gene"if there was one" or hobby of being gay
