Alright so ive found that with a couple of my friends there seems to be a little bit of an arguement. Its about whether to wait or not wait to have sex with that special someone. Im just wondering wat the armorgames community has to think about this one...
Now personally i believe sex is sex. Its something to pass the time by, have fun, and i guess find out what the opposite sex likes and doesn't like, and finally be good at it, so that when i do find that special someone, ill be good at it... Practice makes perfect right??? (make sure to use a condem =P and practice safe sex XD)
You're probably twelve yourself, judging from your profiles age. Fourteen year olds having sex is fine, but twelve year olds really don't understand anything about relationships and sex. They just aren't mature enough and shouldn't be doing it. You'll understand when you're older.
At ages like 12, 13 and 14 the only variable in understanding is hubris. Quod erat demonstrandum, I guess.
You'd be surprised how many girls are like that. Especially the hot ones, which is unfortunate. Why can't their be a hot and smart girl?
My advice: Let go of your preconceptions and get to know them. I know, humanizing the morons around me makes me uncomfortable too, but you should give it a whirl.
They aren't mature in regards to sex. They can have mature opinions on some things, but they haven't undergone the hormonal and mental changes that cause a sex drive and the need for companionship. They don't understand these things. Its just a fact.

As for who's hot and who's not, thats for you to decide but to be honest girls are generally known for being good in studies. I've met lots of dumb arses and lots of smart ones, doesn't really matter on their knowledge when it comes to their looks. I guess its easier to stereotype guys in that sense, though.

Oh, and for the moron that said using two condoms is smart. Its rather stupid and will give you a baby pretty fast. Pill + Condom works, though. Just like any other type of contraceptive device/method mixed with the other, but just doubling up on the same thing isn't good, especially with condoms.
k for the stupid thing about 2 condoms, you only use that if you want to stop a premature ejaculation, or if you want to hold off on an orgasm till later on in the sex.. You should never do that cause what will happen is that they will rip, which results in a leak etc... I have never heard of people using it for the purposes you mentioned though...
The actual point of sex is to have children, but for other circumstances, it's regarded as "love" between the two partners. That being said, it is perfectly best to wait until you do have that special someone in a bonding relationship, aka marriage. I'm not saying that the only moral time is then, but that is the best time.

Since they help prevent fluid transfer then yes they do help with preventing certain STDs.

I'm not being rude, Freakenstein. There's just a very stupid misconception out here which is mainly driven from ignorance. Not that I'm blaming you, or you would know in such a situation. My dad's a doctor, he's met so many people thinking 'Condom's are God's gift to luvurz!' and that they stop all means of baby production.
Ignorance is never helpful, and the common thought is that Condoms do some 99% magic stuff and the people that spread the word are kids that have never seen the box itself or done any research over it.

If the Government has no say, and a 20 year old is dating a 15 year old and its obviously a form of opression/rape, are you going to tell me she can't be helped because there are no laws for it?
I think the age of consent is just a barrier saying 'Just wait a bit longer', not for any purpose, but it makes things easier. Whether one is mentally mature or not, which in most cases they aren't, its not that hard to sit up till 18. Life isn't really over, and adults (statistically speaking) handle sex better just because... they have cash in their pockets
I reached puberty at 10... I certainly wasn't ready for sex then, so much as I'm not now and I'm almost 19. Having sex too young can have major emotional effects, as well as heath issues not related to STDs or pregnancy.

I would suspect that a mature 12 year old would know they are not in a position to be able to responsibly handle sexual intercourse.

The problem I see is the law is used in a far to strict manner.
In the eyes of the law an 18 year old having sex with his 17 years 11 months and 364 day old girlfriend is just as bad as a 50 year old having sex with a 7 year old. This often (at least in the US) results in the 18 year old being looked at and treated as being just as vile and disgusting as the 50 year old.
Also why is the legal age so arbitrary? Many countries have the legal age at 16, most of the US is set at 18, some places are at 21, some places 12 is just fine. It was only about a decade ago Japan had a legal age of 14.
