It is RAP-TURE not RAPE-TURE for you perverted people.

Anyway the long awaited rapture, or the taking of God's souls up to heaven during the time of the apocolypse, has been argued over weather it will happen before, or after the apocolypse. I say it is Pre-Rapture, because if it was Post-Rapture, then there would only be 1/6 of the world's population left... and there would be no one to save. What do you guys say?

I think Blondie was wrong. No rapture unless God comes down to me personally and tells me.

I see why you say that... but it does mention about the taking of God's souls (AKA the Rapture) So wouldn't the bible's scripture be close enough to him sayign that? He did explain to John EXACTLY what to write down in the book of Revelations.

Agreed. People get too paranoid when a standard geographical catastrophe occurs and hears news of people dead, trapped, needing help, yadda yadda yadda. They think "oh noes teh rapture is coming we need God for help! Let's pray so He takes us up into Heaven!" and abandon all rational hope. No offense, but what these people realize is that these occurrences happen naturally, because it is a FACT of science. We can explain how, say an earthquake, happens, why it happens, and what to do WHEN it happens.

Now, when people think that these are the works of God Himself.... they need to use "what God gave them" and have some sense once in a while.

This may caused this topic to be locked becuase I am insulting pretty much the whole human race here...

There are some things we cannot explain. Science perhaps, is just a bunch of blah-hah that mankind made to satisfy our pathetic need to figure out things. The things like it thunders becuase God makes a strike at bowling or a hurricane is God's bath water going down the drain... maybe those ARE the explanations. It is SO stupid for something as primitive as mankind to try and answer things that are just part of life. I made this topic to post this to get a point across.

If you want to interpret it that way...sure.

He did explain to John EXACTLY what to write down in the book of Revelations.

Because everything in the Bible is true. Gotcha.

Ernie some of us (Unlike Athiests and Catholics...(no offense))can fully trust things like that. If you believe that the bible is a bunch of blah-hah... then who am I to try and stop you? That isn't my job. Nor would I want it to be. If you think that way, that is your problem. Not mine.

You did and that's great. The point about science however, is that its theories and laws can be proven. Under many different conditions, and many times.

The things like it thunders becuase God makes a strike at bowling or a hurricane is God's bath water going down the drain

Let's hope you don't actually believe this....Do you know where the troposphere is, Liveinpeace? The area where most of the weather occurs if you don't. Are there images of "god bowling" or "god's bathwater going down the drain"? No...unfortunately I don't think so.

Calling us primative? How stupid are you? We can go into the clouds and take samples, then preform an experement to prove that its watter. Science is tested. Youre examples can easly be proven false, and we wouldn;t be able to get out of what you call &quotrimative" if we don't try. Instead of making up things such as dieties we look up evidince. You should try some time...

Are we going to resort to insulting now, 314d1? Let's not. This is no place for attacking each other.

Debating whether the rapture will come before or after the Apocalypse implies that there will be a rapture.

There are some things we cannot explain. Science perhaps, is just a bunch of blah-hah that mankind made to satisfy our pathetic need to figure out things

Am I the only one who finds this more than a tad ironic?

And YES we are primative.

Comparisons are all relative, we are the most advanced life form we have ever seen, there fore it would be more than reasonable to say we are advanced, and incorrect to say we are primitive.

EVIDENCE!? SCIENCE SAMPLES!? Okay then... can science explain how the big bang happened if there was nothing there to begin with? Can science explain where people go when they die? Can science explain why there IS THE ATMOSPHERE?!!?!??!?! (This one I actually think science can...) By the way... there is "evidence" for the bible too. There are traces of bread like crumbs (mana) and dead bodies and remnants of chariots. ( oh dear... seem familiar?)

Most advanced animal? We are only "Smarter" than msot animals because of our brain size and apposable thumbs. Take away the brain functions and thumbs... and we aren't that good now are we? There were animals greater than us... but they are gone.
