So many people no nothing about gay people, but insult them! Come on! Its in your DNA! It's like being black! And lets not repeat history folks. Your born gay, but people act as if its a choice. And so many people say "Uhh... The bible says you can't be gay, so yeah..." So God has a little spot in Hell for all his children born gay?

People are often afraid of things they don't understand, plus when someone uses a name for someone as a pseudo-curse word it catches on and people start to hate what it really is.

Well i wouldn't call them all ignorant, but I don't care for how they think. Some may legitimately hate homosexuals, some may be a bit different.

Gay mean you are attracted to the opposite sex. I am just uncomfortable around gay men cuz it's kinda creepy. Yes, some are born gay but some also choose it.

I'm going to share a little story from my big brother(who's captain of the debate team).
The subject was homosexuality, and it was Jon vs. a Christian. The dialogue went something like this:
Christian(who won the coin toss for first talk): Homosexuality is a sin, and it's not only wrong for that reason. It's wrong because procreation is necessary for human survival. If, say, everyone in the world were homosexual, the human race would be extinct.
Jon: But it is possible for two homosexuals to have children. It's happened before.
Christian: Even so, it would not happen often enough to keep humanity alive.
Jon: But you realize that not everyone on Earth is homosexual, and that will likely never happen? It's a genetic thing.
Christian: No, it is a choice.
Jon: No...it is a genetic thing.
Christian: It is a choice.
Jon: Okay. So, according to the Bible, God created the universe, and the reason Man acts up is because God gave Man free will, correct?
Christian: Yeah.
Jon: And God did not give animals free will?
Christian: Yes.
Jon: So anything an animal does would be directed by God?
Christian: Yeah.
Jon: So, homosexual animals must mean that God made them homosexual.
Christian: But there aren't homosexual animals. If they were, they have obviously been corrupted by Man. God gave Man animals to do with as he wished.
Jon: But these animals were feral. They had not been affected by humans.

Ahaha...that poor believer got his righteous butt kicked.

I would say that the majority of homophobes are ignorant because of influence. Other people that are most influential in their lives (family, friends, mediums, etc.) have views that homosexuality is either immoral, gross, or just downright wrong. However, to say that they are immoral when they were born gay would pretty much say that their entire being is immoral. It does not mean that you legitimately take that influence and fundamentally add it to your mind, because it is false information. I also do not care for those that generalize the definition and the people of homosexuality. Not all act the same way, not all have the same personalities, not all seduce one another, not all just go around and have sex. The fact that laws forbidding gay marriage and denying their rights (that would have normally been given out to "the normal people&quot reflects some of the terrible ethics and morals that the common masses contain within their ignorant minds.

And if I had that danged website that Strop pulled up that had a list of over 1000 rights denied to homosexuals, I'd show it to you, but I cannot find the darned thing.

We're all ignorant. To say that you are not is ignorant in itself.

a phobia is an irrational fear of something; not a misunderstanding of it.
