Makes me kind of glad that they drop out of school before open schedules in senior year.

Agreed.

making you commit suicide

Nah, they just shoot them and go to prison on a death sentence. Or the cry about it.

The former makes their 'cool rate' go up, the former means it bottoms out.

Oh, and before this drives me crazy, 'nowadays' is one word.

Anyways, it's not the being dumb that's in, it's the being a show off in front of your friends and making them laugh. That leads to dumbness and stupidity, but is not why they do it.

Some of them are rather intelligent, just lack the ability to use it. Or refuse to use it. I can't tell.

I'd think the people who think dropping out is 'cool' are going to follow that manner.

Smartz is fun!

I think school is terrific! I just don't like the grade system that bases what you get into a grade point average. A person with an A in Human Anatomy and Physiology is the same "value" as a person with an A in Drama class. With this, I'm ranked #24 out of 145 seniors and I'm pulling more weight than the guys with exceptional honors, because they are taking machine shop and auto mechanics classes. *PFFT*

School is important.. And the work is just proving you know all that was taught to you.. If not then wouldn't everyone pass?

I also agree that the grading system isn't as fair.. But sometimes life just isn't fair? xD

If all the kids keep acting retarded, then there's going to be alot more intervention episodes, which is a plus for me.
Thats like one of my favorite shows.

Lol that made me laugh. But it is true, doesn't have much to do with the thread though.

It's boring sometimes, but I don't want to end up like those people who cant spell or use grammar properly >.> (I wonder who that is?)

Not enough to do at school, too much time to do it in... They must think I'm an idiot.

Really, nothing in the last few pages has anything to do with the thread.

We had one of those state test a couple of weeks ago, and they gave us 45 mins to do 8 questions.

I hate those, way too easy, but what's really sad is, a lot of the aforementioned morons at my school actually fail them!

I can understand failing an essay, because the prompts always suck, but a multiple choice test full of questions based on material provided?

If there are many more people like that we're in big trouble here.

Yes, school is.... unusual. They really should change some things. School is not too bad though. You would have no social life beyond one or two friends and the internet if you would not go to school. Also you would not have a good job (or any job, for that matter).

English is not very important beyond a 5th-6th grade level. English would not be necessary if everyone would read books. Although I am only in 6th grade level, I read college level books. :P

The other classes are pretty important.

Kudos on the reading level, mate, but I would check what your school considers college level, I went back to my elementary school library to help set up some new computers and I saw Twilight books as 10th grade material.
Twilight! The writing in those sucks!

I agree, but when you get to high school the teachers will try to tell you otherwise...

My teachers are horrible hyprocrits, swearing, calling us stupid, saying were the worst class in the school, and one time throwing kids belongings on the ground and whenever I do any of these I get a suspension or a detention.

Whenever I tell the principal of these things he always asks me if I'm a lawyer for the kid getting harrassed by the teachers.

Then the teachers wonder why were such and I'll quote from them: my class is the rudest most ignorant class in the whole school.
