I just relized people have alot of stress in their daily lives and constantly worry about every little thing, argueing non-stop, hating each other, starving, deprived, animals are alway beaten, slaughtered and so on every second. (you get the picture) what if there was a national or a world-wide date for every body to die (kill themselves and or one another) I think that would be easier for all, you have no worries any more, doen't matter if you were late to work if you have enough time for something or somebody you love. There would be no war, no racism, and no body in pain (in thought and in body) What is your opion ? Why should or shouln't this happen ?

What?? That a pretty crazy idea! Why would there be a world wide event where you can die and kill people. Isn't that bad and illegal? Also, they can just do that whenever thay please if they plan on doing something like that. Oh, and I think that this is a very bad idea because there has to be a better way to slove stress and problems, then from suiciding and killing one another.

rules were made to be broken if there is no rules nobody would do anything illegal. My friends and I used to do stupid things just to get in trouble and we still do

Pain isn't very fun, and a mass murder would go against many of people's moral standards. Also, most people would like to enjoy life rather than turning into dust (or going to heaven/hell).

Suicide and killing are like the ultimate sin in Christianity, so you would go to hell and the suffering would be even greater.

Haha, this is like, two things rolled into one:

1) The ultimate existential question: "Why don't we kill ourselves?"

2) The Voluntary Extinction Movement. Similar, but having a more rigorous rationale, than various suicide cults that usually work on some speculation of an imminent apocalypse.

For better or for worse, I would say the original post has a somewhat misanthropic sentiment.

Well, we could take everyone that wanted to participate and put them on an island and televise it! I wouldn't watch it, but since it's my idea I want a cut of the profits!

No, we shouldn't go around killing one another although that would probably be quite exhilarating... I think we should just stop reproducing. Die out peacefully without harming the planet more than we already have.

Yep, I definitely encourage you to check out the Voluntary Human Extinction movement- this is pretty much their vision.
