I am not in any way trash talking atheists, but what i don't see is their sole purpose. Do they get some sort of delight i trying to lure people away from their beliefs? You tell me.

And? In the Christian religion, doing bad things is considered a sin, so therefore, that doesn't happen very often.

I said nothing specifically about Christianity. All religious people do this.

I know. I was just using my own religion as an example.

A poor example. Christianity is one of the worst for discrimination and destruction in the name of it's god.

The thing is: Atheists will never be affected by religious facts/statements, they might think a different way religious persons do, as some religions might put restrictions on ways of thinking.
If not, prohibit thinking about certain things at all.
Atheist is (for me) also a certain way of rebelling about injustive done by some religions (Men and Women should be equal etc...)
Atheists is NOT believeing in NOTHING
atheist
a-theist
(Deus = god in Lating, I guess you can figure what Atheist means)
And indeed, maybe there are some people misusing Atheism just for their own purpose, Maybe their hate to a certain religion.

Not necessarily, generally the older generation of conservative Christians have a negative view of homosexuality that in reality is just a vein reach for power. Most Christians aren't militant about it either; it's just the ones who are are the ones who make the news.

I was wondering if people realise that faith is different to religion and having faith makes someone an agnostic. This is probably preeching to the converted (excuse the pun)
but i wondered if it were worth mentioning since no-one seemed to so far.
I think all atheists understand science has a long way to go, we aint the victorian british, who once they'd worked out thermodynamics pretty much assumed that was that on the fundermental laws. Further, an agnostic would find that science is the route to explaining how the universe works but maybe not why???
And if anyone mentions chaos theory i'm coming round to their house with a chaotically designed bat.

Atheists don't hate Christians . Us Atheists are still people and so are Christians . We respect the Christians but just because we don't believe does'nt mean we are haters of Christians.

I find Christians as nice people . Nice calm people. I am friends with a Christian He is very nice .
