The so called "Evil" antagonist of the Bible. The question comes to this: Why is he the evil one? He killed a mere ten people in the Bible, possibly more to around fifty at most, while God, the supposed good one, killed billions. The only "negative" thing he did was rebel against god, but it was a just rebel. Who would want to live under that tyrant?
So the question comes down to: Why do Christians think Satan is evil?
Nope, in this day and age every church, every person, thinks something different about there religion. Some churches now a days believe homosexuals should be killed, as it is in the Bible, but as mentioned some churches do not. That is one example on every church being different..
Well I'm Roman Catholic. Roman Catholic people wrote the Bible. Now, you say that the what the author of a story has to say about his/her story doesn't not matter? That doesn't make sense to me.
You are the closed minded one... "As I am right and you are wrong"? That is the most closed minded statement on this thread. You come on things with preconceived notions. You didn't even know about the bear attack until I posted the verses. If I posted something from the Quran, and told you it was from the Bible, you would have reacted the same way and defended it. If I took something from the Bible and told you it was from the Quran, you would agree that it was cruel. It is because you are closed minded...
I did not know about the bear attack, you are right. However when I found out, it was quite easy to find an explanation, even if you would not hear it out. Let me ask you this: If I was holding a cabbage, and said, this is a cabbage, but you said, no it is a lettuce, to which I responded, I am right and you are wrong, am I close minded? No. Statement of fact and the pointing out of the false is not close mindedness. We've strayed far from mature argument, and I can testify to that fault, however you have gone from Satan to seemingly nothing.

So if I am a former Catholic and have studdied the bible, and it's history, how can you say I am not credible? Furthermore how can you induce such ignorance to say others are not allowed an opinion? Just because they have not followed a faith does not mean they have not studied and researched what they have to say.

By your reasoning, someone who has studied a subject can dictate upon it. I have done a little studying of atheism myself (before I laughed myself into a coma) so therefore I truthfully state atheists believe unicorns are real!

You are not the author of the story. You are not even a relative. That would be like asking his semi-distant neighbor what his opinion is and saying it matters.

It is easy to find when you make one up. If you are holding orange and I come over and tell you it is orange and you say "No, it is cabbage!" then I prove to you that it is lettuce you make up an excuse like "It is just PRETENDING to be an orange!"...
Just out of curiosity, I propose a little test. If you accept, please do not use a search engine to find were they are from. Now justify the following...
And .... said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
And.... slaughtered them all, from the man to his ass, and hath burned walls.
Then how (will it be with them) when the angels gather them, smiting their faces and their backs!
Behold the Lord slayeth the wicked to bring forth his righteous purposes. It is better that one man should perish than that a nation should dwindle and perish in unbelief.

I'm tempted to sink down to your level and ignore everything you say. Because now you are just being ignorant and now seriously considering any arguements put forth. You are narrow minded and obscene, at least I have the experience of being a Catholic to justify why I cannot tolerate religion and it's devices. You merely have your own secular experience and have been spoonfed beliefs your entire life.
I truthfully state atheists believe unicorns are real!
You dolt, Christians believe in unicorns. It is in the Bible, so it must be true!
God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. Numbers 23:2
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. Deuteronomy 33:17
And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. Isaiah 34:7
God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. Numbers 23:2
WTF are you talking about? Numbers 23:2 is "so he did as balaam had ordered, offering a bullock and a ram on each altar. And balak said to him "I have erected the seven altars and have offered bullock and a ram on each"
That's no where near unicorns. Deuteronmy 33:17 is not what you have Isaiah is the closest you have to the actually bible, but still no unicorn.
You probably have a different translation. The unicorn in the bible is not what you think of a unicorn. The unicorns in the bible are oxen and other animals like dogs and pigs
Cow are you using the KJV? It tends to change things that don't make since. Fore example, the second time Goliath died they added (his brother) or something to the effect to make it sound less strange.
I looked through my Bible, in the passages you said had unicorns, I saw 'wild ox'. Either my version was edited, or yours is... meh.
I am using an faithless Bible that does tend to put everything in the worst light possible, but some Christians have one that says unicorns exist and believe in it. I will give a link to a Christians sight defending it as proof.
I used my bible. If you didn't know this, different bibles have different translation. The biblical unicorn is different than today's unicorn. Hell, a rhino could be the unicorn talked about. Again what proof do you have that unicorns don't exist? It could quite possible that they do, just went extinct. That could easily have happened. Back when antelope were evolving a few could have a mutation and the two horns on the head fused and join to together as one on te forehead. Excuse me for a moment while I look up 23:22
