In respond to the OP I don't believe any of the active AG members are Muslim; however the community is open to all religions. Out of curiosity are you Muslim?

We say an oath that we believe in [b]one god (who was not born, never bore, and has nothing similar) and that the prophet muhammad was his last messenger. We pray to god 5 times a day. We fast during the month of Ramadan: no food and no drink from sunrise to sunset - so we can feel how it is for the ppl who dont have anything. we give charity: 2% of any unused money to the poor/needy. We make pilgrimage to the Kaabah
Muslims belive in all the prophets that christianity and judasiam believe in, and in a Muslim state, as long as they pay a small tax, Jews and Christians can live in peace and by their own government, and have the Muslim's protection during any wars... they will be protected by the muslims!

TO be honest, this thread is pointless and similar threads have been locked before. Also, seeing as all religions are ultimately useless - good for you but you'll receive the same treatment as all the other religious people out there... I will question every part of your belief system intensively and at times become arrogant and ridicule you merely for your beliefs. Aside from religion I have no personal problems with ya - So, basically, Hello and nice to meet you.
The Abrahamic religions are my third favourite and out of those I'd say Muslims are the most welcoming. Anyway, why - in a world created by a loving deity (Allah, God, Yahweh - whatever), do many Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia - insist on stoning, mutilating and in other ways harming Homosexuals? Surely the Qu'ran doesn't advocate such violence? If it does - then why following a deity that would allow such things? And if not - then why doesn't Allah step in and stop such things?
Of course we do not advocate such violence - infact, 'islam' comes from the arabic root word 'salam' meaning 'eace'.
You could ask "why does the world have anything bad if there is a god??" the answer, my answer, to that is: This life is a test, we are told so in our book, the Quran. Humans were given the ability to choose, unlike angels, who simply obey god. What we do with our life is our choice and we will be held accountable on the Last Day.
Then, what about children that die when they are born or at a week old etc? They have had no time to go through the test of life. If God knows what they would have done anyway then we have no free will or choice but if He doesn't know then he isn't omnipotent or all-knowing.
ah yes!! in islam, we believe that if you die before you are phisically mature, you go to paradise - for exactly the reason you presented.
We belive that humans do have the choice, and god still knows what they will do... here is an example: you know that someone is about rob a store, but you don't do anything about it. you knew, they had the choice, and the outcome was because of their choice.
Does this include foetuses that either die as a result of a miscarriage or abortion? if so, why didn't Allah allow them a chance to live? If not, then does that mean Abortions are OK because the Foetus doesn't have a soul?
