A while ago, I was watching some TV show, and a commercial came on for the "NAACP Awards Show" which would include only black people. Why? Aren't we past the differences? I can bet all my money that if a Whites Only award show was presented, it would cause an absolute from everyone, not just blacks.
So, the question is, why does the NAACP awards ceremony still exist? It just shows that blacks want to be in a different category.

I wouldnt say none. There are a few out there like Martin Luther King and Bob Marley. They encouraged freedom and for everyone to stand up for their rights equally. Its a cliche as well and Im sorry for that, but its true.
Also its impossible for young blacks to properly integrate when there are black rap stars glorifying gangs, guns, bitches and bling and older white people running the country. To them this is pure gangsta, its agressive yob culture, just look at the way politicians try to reach out to minoritys and phail most of the time, coming off looking like a arsekisser trying for votes.
The whole black culture that is shown on TV is a myth, most black people dont live or think like that. I have friends who are from afrikaa! but they have black gangsta rap influence to their speech, manurisims and music, yet they are christians who rap about non violence. WTF? Did I mention they are from Africa. You would be hard pushed to tell until you catch a tang of accent in their speech.
How do you get away from that? Its become part of a cliche culture. White people are buying into that as well. The young generation of western whites are picking up black slang (gotta love it tho dawg, its infekshus)
And as for the N word ( I only say that cos I rekon AG will blank out nigga) Its no longer a racist word, its a greeting... "whatup ma nigga", I actually tend to call some of my white homeboyz wigga. Am I racist, no, have I been sucked into this social phenomonon, mos def, can you stop it now... no.
So I think stuff like black only TV is crazy, but anyone who watches that is in my opinion, as stupid as people who follow x-factor etc...

If you want to be separate, the promote separatism. You can't have both. And yes, blacks only organizations are hypocritical. They promote recognition based on skin color, then they decry whites only organizations as racist. It's a double standard and it promotes separatism, not unity and integration.
If a white person called me a white fcuk I would laugh, if a black person says that it packs more of a punch. Its all relative. I couldnt call me black friends nigga even as a joke, I just wouldnt feel comfey with that. And Im glad Armor Games lets me say nigger. Freedom of speech in a thoughtfull post is paramount. Sorry for the duble post but dude, I just had the same argument with someone on youtube last week. They were saying nigga and nigger ment something different but when I chalanged him he didnt have an answer as to exactly what that difference was. Arg!
Guys - as much as I like to extract the urine from stereotypical 'black' accents, isn't it time we moved on? It's starting to get a little stale now and doesn't really have much to do with the topic at hand.
