it has come to my attention that this nation (america) is dividing, very quickly. could there be a way to stop it, or are we so determined to change everyone into unthinking machines, that there will be a second civil war? i want some different views on the causes of this, and possible solutions to the division. people from other countries are encouraged to jump in, it might be helpful to get some insight from people whos culture is several hundreds, even thousands of years older than ours.
existentialism, i get it, "i eat, therefore i poop" sure sure. anyway, house where you been mang, and i never really got a good response.
yes i can see your point, but wouldnt it be better if we could all just accept all ideas? i mean why do we need a nation with so many parties, why do we need a world with so many governments, its too bad that a utopian society couldnt exist. just a shame. still i think america needs to start helping more, and hurting less, then maybe everyone wouldnt hate us. like why worry about a group of extremists, why havent we applied the same will and manpower to the flooding situation, seems like our priorities are a little "CRUDER". did u get that double ontondra(spelling?)
oh, someone has to be incharge. plus its human nature, i mean, as much as i don't want to admit it, i think my kids are the best, the same as any parent. if i have the chance to get my kids anything, i do it, regardless of what other kids have. thats why. wed have to change some things i a huge and impossible way to even get close.
This is a tough issue. As time goes on generations tend to act differently towards politics, religion, war, etc. Just from a broad standpoint, in the late 19th and early 20th century it seemed as if Americans were more trusting of the system of gov't and politics. Almost as if it never entered their mind to make a thought for themselves. I am not saying there wasn't anyone who did think on their own. Now speed up to the 60's and 70's where there was a birth of a generation that thought it was important to question the system and authority so we wouldnt become sheeps with wool over our eyes. I think we are on a trend more of exposing the political scams, fraudulent banking system, and in general things that are not done right. The media has a huge role in this. Im not saying all of this is bad. Just make a lot more individual groups that have similar ideas. A lot more Americans are thinking for themselves and are questioning authority. Times are changing and will be interesting to see what happens. The media has too much influential power in a good way and in a bad way. The good thing is the media highlights corrupt propaganda. At the same time lots of their stories can be fabricated. American's want control of their country again and possibly feel over the last decade or so maybe even longer, they have lost this great nation. Im not saying my opinion is correct. Just my opinion.
just a suggestion, and not one i support, but we could kill all the theists ,and atheist's, and gnostics, and agnostics, the dumb, the rich, the redundant, and the chinese. keeping only the scientific minded people, who have no desire to know what happened to bring us here, and no desire to have more than anyone else.

Also thats not true dude. Its the scientific people who HAVE the desire. The only other people who have that are people like me, the philosophers (Im sure glad you dont need a qualification to be one, just like a musician... which I am also... lawl)
There probably won't be a civil war, because the reason for it would be too much government. But if you fought the government, they have all the weapons.
It would have to be like 95% against that other 5% and all the arms, and military.
