Why do governments feel the need to make drugs illegal? If anything, it causes a lot more problems than there were before. If they were legalized, there would not be nearly as many violent actions over getting them since the prices would not be nearly as high. There would not been as many people over doing it with drugs, since it would eventually just become a normal thing in day-to-day life.
Where the **** are your sources? I could give you a million sources. Have you seen the side effects of some medications? "SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, HEADACHE, DIARRHEA, CANCER, CARDIAC ARREST, AND HEART ATTACK."
... Just because tiny percentages of people have small side effects doesn't mean everyone is going to have them. Smoking pot regularly guarantees decreased lung capacity, and that's only one effect.
dude drugs shoulkd be somewhat legal its people choices if they want to destroy their life. like it should be legal only like in certain areas not like randomly on the street or really populated areas it should be like at like parks and other secluded areas.
Studies show that some people are safer when driving high, and others are less safe. Apparently some people just try really hard to stay safe, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it does the opposite. Well for almost every person out there its true, because when ur high u can get very paranoid. This leads to u fully focusing on what ur doing... Not to mention when ur baked most people can only focus on one thing... if ur driving (in most cases) u'll only be focusing on the road. At least thats what happened to me (only did it once, and that was becuz i forgot i had driving training that night).
argue the links provide false info? DEA DEA (all drugs) ONDCP ONDCP (continued) NIDA
hahaha actually yes i would. All government and police sites hugely over-exagerate all and any effects of smoking marijuana or any other drug. This is because they want to reduce the number of drug users by any means neccesary. Secondly people should start understanding rules... If u have less than 2.5 grams of weed on u the police can't do anything. They will throw it out but thats pretty much it. Police will make u break ur own pipe/bongs if they catch u with them, which can be pretty harsh for sum people. And if you've already smoked it and have nothing left the police cant do anything. They could smell u, and check ur eyes, but thats only there opinion and u cant get charged based on opinions...
I think it is about the same. You can see things when you are high.
again another ignorant person who's never smoked weed before making assumptions. Sry but thats not true... thats only hallucinagenics like shrooms..
EX. a lion bites your arm off. now you put a pitbull to your other arm and have him bite.
but since weed is 10x btr than alcohol and that other stuff it would be like putting a poodle up to ur arm instead...
if pot is ever legalised it should be used in a fashion where it does the least amount of harm to your body and for medical purposes only. and at least have an age restriction.
already doesn't do anything to ur body... Its healthier than tobacco. Maybe like a lil bit of dmg to ur lungs but thats all... not to mention there is no other way to take in weed other than by a vaporizor
Even if weed was evil and did all sorts of crazy shit, isn't it my body i'm putting the drugs in, so why should the government care about what i do with MY life, and i what i put into MY body. unless of course, it is illegal to own my life
The public health indicates that are necesary make illegal the drugs, because are very very bad for the human body, but its a fact that ever be adicted people, so like the alcohol o tabaco its necesary take the decision to legalize them, it would be a mine of gold for the goverment, and all we are adults, can take decisions about our health and brains, if we can make it pure, we should make it.
Most of the stuff on marijuana provided in those links are exagerated. Yes, the effects of distortion and blah blah is somewhat true, but it only lasts while someone is high. GETTING DRUNK ALSO DISTORTS REALITY. Oh, look, scare tactics! Other things mentioned are assumptions made by barely credible sources that manipulated their data so that the information gathered would OBVIOUSLY show that marijuana is bad. In simple, the tests provided to prove their claims were biased.
Those sources are there to scare people into thinking marijuana is bad when it's a simple drug like anything else. The government makes money off keeping marijuana illegal, sort of. If marijuana is made legal, all the money for it would go to farmers rather than oil industries, tobaco industries (who provide funds to support anti-marijuana laws...hmmm), drug companies would lose money, and most of the government is brain washed from past propaganda about marijuana being bad when it really isn't.
Marijuana can be abused. Everything can be abused. Marijuana can also be used responsibly, many illegal drugs truly are addicting and terrible for people's health. Marijuana isn't. It is addicting, but not very.
maybe because if it wasnt illegal youd have ppl everywhere like stoned an itd be messed up
The only reason I can think of to not legalize many drugs is quite simply this. People are stupid, they do things that hurt them. Other animals don't eat acid on purpose. The government is simply trying to protect people.
Were I live during part of the year there is a kind of berry the ferments(or maybe creates a poison or something), during that part of the year birds and other animal eat those barriers like crazy, basically birds get really fucking drunk. Drugs are a natural part of life for everything. Not just humans.
