mike portnoy is the greatest dummer all time and dream theater is his band that he formed 25 years ago, mike is also the current drummer for avenged sevenfold.
And you probably never heard of him, because if you did then you would realize how great he is. Even though i don't like DT i think he's probably the best drummer of the last decade and it will be a shame if he joins Avenged Sevenfold. But seriously, it's not like he's dead, he will continue to make music and so will DT so all that whining is ridiculous.

hes not going to join a7x he said in his official post about it that hes just going to be touring with them for this tour. or atleast untill they find a new drummer.
