Yes but he'll be with Avenged Sevenfold for a while and they're better than Dream Theater (in my opinion) and he suits their style really well. The Rev will never be replaced, but Portnoy did a pretty good job on the record methinks.
bill brudford is SOOOOO CLEAN. the reason why i dont like him particularly is because he doesnt put alot of emotion into his playing which is one of the biggest things when being a drummer is to but your heart and soul into it
It's very clean and slick, which fits well with all the other instrumentation with Yes. And if you want heart and soul with drumming, I haven't found anyone who does more expressive drumbeats then Jeremiah Green.
Wakeman and Emerson are Rudess' main influences, so there're some stylistic similarities.
Seriously man, calm down. People break up and break off of bands all the time, it's a pretty regular occurence. So just chill, and enjoy his past music and anticipate what he does in the future.
Avengeded sevenfold is a waste of space. the only people who hoenstly think they are good are people who tinhk that they are hardcore for listening to an overrated band. There really not that good. I honestly hope he doesn't stay with them, cause Iwill never hear any of his music.
I want him to go with a new tlaent, and make them big time, he could do it, and he knows what he's doind as far as music, so he could get a new band big.
