Well, I think of it more as an idealogical stance than a vice, but how do you feel about the objectification of women? As I see it, women are people. And another suprising fact, the Guy in my name truthfully indicates that I am male. I feel, that no matter where they are from, who they are, or what gender they have, people should be treated equally. Of course, that is my opinion, and so I will hope that people can share their views, even if they do believe in the objectification of women. So, please, no making insults on other people's comments. As the rules say, keep the debate friendly and clean. If possible, you can point out flaws, but, it is opinion. So remember, those are the rules, people!

It simply states that God created man in his own image, then goes on to say that he created both man and woman. It's ambiguous.

Fine, I'll give you that one because I'm so magnanimous xP.

Gee guys, that was slightly pointless. The story in Genesis clearly stated that Adam was created first, and after that God thought "this guy needs a companion", so he took a rib from Adam and from that modelled Eve.

For whatever worth you hold it, that is.

p.s. did you know that if you leave just the periosteal membrane of the rib and remove the rest, it'll grow right back?

True story. We even get the terms "Man" and "Woman" from this story. Woman literally means "from Man". And I've always marveled at this, since everyone AFTER Eve came from a woman... Oh, and let's not go into the scrolls which didn't make it into the Bible. Especially the ones which claim that the first human was a woman, Lilith, and she was banished from Eden and later became Cain's wife. Guess they stole too much from paganism of the time for that one to make the grade.
