Well, I think of it more as an idealogical stance than a vice, but how do you feel about the objectification of women? As I see it, women are people. And another suprising fact, the Guy in my name truthfully indicates that I am male. I feel, that no matter where they are from, who they are, or what gender they have, people should be treated equally. Of course, that is my opinion, and so I will hope that people can share their views, even if they do believe in the objectification of women. So, please, no making insults on other people's comments. As the rules say, keep the debate friendly and clean. If possible, you can point out flaws, but, it is opinion. So remember, those are the rules, people!

On the topic of sex education. I think that all children should be forced to receive proper sex ed before or by the age of 10. I don't mean abstinence only because that is the biggest load of bullshit I've seen in a long time.

Except ,you know, its the only 100% effective way to not knock that girl up. I doubt many teenagers are paying for the little pills and condoms do break if they are used at all. Defintly mandatory sex ed classes at 10.

avorne, you can't really have a place on the oppinion of abstinence, being an A-sexual, how could you know anything about sex, or sexual attraction, and what age it starts, or should be taught?

Its more like it increases the chances of that happening. Teaching abstinence only is like telling a kid not to touch a gun(well, maybe not a gun but I think you get the point), then laying it in front of him without teaching safety.

woah, abstinence isnt just DON't have sex jimmy, or you die and go to hell, theres safe sex in there too, but mostly, what young people have no grasp of, is WAIT FOR MARRIAGE. why buy the cow when you can the milk for free..

It often is, because they think they are protecting their kids.

Different people see the world differently.

What is the point in marriage? It doesn't magically make you love each other any more than you do already, it can be fairly costly and to be honest it just isn't necessary. If you want to get married then fine but it isn't a requirement. Oh and just because I'm an Asexual, doesn't mean I can't study the world around me and take in others personal experiences too.

Marriage doesn't have much to do with love, and it really never has, given the history of it. It serves a purpose. It's a tool.

Keeping your partner on lock-down clearly. You could chain them up, or put a ring on their finger, same thing really. 'You cheat on me and the house, car and kids are mine' kinda thing.

I would never objectify a woman especially one that I love dearly. Any girl I meet (unless their mean to me in any way) I try to be very nice to and do anything I can to make their lives better. I don't even know how the notion that women are inferior really came about. They are very smart and capable individuals.

Not really. Sex doesn't interest me at all and it isn't necessary for a good relationship with the people around you. I'm far from lonely and certainly not sad.

Aww, maybe you just have a crush on me? Anyway, doesn't the light from that extremely shiny mirror you're holding up blind you?
