Answer questions fully, giving the answer and an explination with it. Try not to only give an answer, it defeats the purpose of this thread.
If a question was already answered, please do not repost the answer unless correcting it or adding helpful content to the answer.

I personally am most skillful in mathematics, followed by reading and writing.

I'm in 11th grade Precalculus, and that's kind of a joke too.

Are you a nerd or something, are you saying that's easy?

I'm kind of a nerd, but I really don't put enough effort into school to care about it. But yeah, finding the 6 trig functions is not that difficult.

My english teacher gave four topics for the essay. I chose "what function does the 'beast' in the novel serve? Consider what the 'beast' may symbolize, the way the boys' ideas about the 'beast' change, and what effect the 'beast' has on the boys"

Here,

The beast represents the way in which man will try to convince himself that there is no evil inside of him by making someone or something else seem to be the cause for the evil.

Yes, but I need to describe Ralph's, Simon's, and Jack's views on the beast in detail while answering the question.

In case you forgot:
Ralph: There is no beast
Simon: Maybe it's us
Jack: There isn't a beast, but if there is, I'll kill it

Oh yeah!
We're doing a book report for English and we need to get a book to match our lexile level. My lexile's 1500+(as high as it goes), and I'm having trouble finding a book. Here are the requirements for the book.
1. Must have a minimum Lexile Level of 1350, no maximum.
2. Must be realistic fiction.
3. Must be school-appropriate.
Anyone know a good book that fits those qualifications?

The beast, though, does seem to take a physical form through the pigs head later in the story, leading to the death of ...
Sorry here is a better explination
"The imaginary beast that frightens all the boys stands for the primal instinct of savagery that exists within all human beings. The boys are afraid of the beast, but only Simon reaches the realization that they fear the beast because it exists within each of them. As the boys grow more savage, their belief in the beast grows stronger. By the end of the novel, the boys are leaving it sacrifices and treating it as a totemic god. The boysâ behavior is what brings the beast into existence, so the more savagely the boys act, the more real the beast seems to become."

That is from sparknotes, I had a question like that on my final, but that was last year! grr i hope that helps!

@Pauler94 sorry I read it like 3-4 years ago I don't remember much but there are essays on the Internet about the beast so if your read that you should have a good idea on their opinions of it.

@Hypermnestra I was about to recommend animal farm but then I checked out what this wishy washy lexile level was and found out it only had 1170 ish. Wow even Iliad doesn't have the necessary lexile level. I give up.

Cirque Du Freak...I googled it.
A vampire doesn't exactly fit in with a realistic fiction story, for one thing. For another, Cirque Du Freak is only about 600 Lexile Level, that's less than half my requirement.
In no way am I looking for book suggestions. The book must conform to the requirements or it won't work.
