I believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and died on the cross for all our sins and did miracles his whole life.

What do you believe, and why?

Atheism has contributed to the secularization of society - which is no bad thing.

No, atheists have. So have Christians, as well as many other individuals of varying faiths.

yeah we never started crusades or crashed planes into buildings because we don't have beliefs in some "god" as while religion caused that because they hate someone else because they have a different religion i bet in the future if religion isn't taken out there will be more wars

Glad you saw that the point was positive contributions.

Atheism doesn't affect your actions. A Christan or Muslim might do things, good or bad, because their faith tells them to. It can be something as insignificant as going to church once a week, or something as extreme as murders.

What I'm trying to say is that you can't respect Atheism for it's contributions, but for how it "makes people more independent". I'm not trying to say religious people are robots, doing whatever the Bible or w/e tells them to, I just couldn't find a better way to phrase it.

I digress, I've found myself acting with slightly less care for things such as social stigmas or practices deemed "bad".

For the rest of the post I agree.

No we did not.
And before anyone says this, Stalin, Hitler, and Pol Pot were NOT, I repeat, NOT motivated by their atheism. Yes, they were atheists, but their motives had nothing to do with religion.

as while religion caused that because they hate someone else because they have a different religion

Actually, it's not because they hated those people(or at least not the Crusades). It's because they are aggressive with their conversion techniques.
Bet you don't feel as pissed at those Jehovah's Witnesses anymore, huh?

i bet in the future if religion isn't taken out there will be more wars

Even if by some miracle religion is removed from society(and it never will be), there will always, ALWAYS be wars.

And also; do you not get that the point was positive things to earn respect, not negative things to lose it?

You're more of a robot than most Christians I know, have you ever read the bible? It's more than just a rule book, saying so demonstrates ignorance of the bible itself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler#Religious_views

Hitler did, however, use Christianity to convince the people of his views.

In public, Hitler often praised Christian heritage, German Christian culture, and professed a belief in an Aryan Jesus Christ, a Jesus who fought against the Jews.[313] In his speeches and publications Hitler spoke of his interpretation of Christianity as a central motivation for his antisemitism, stating that "As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice."[314][315] His private statements, as reported by his intimates, show Hitler as critical of traditional Christianity, considering it a religion fit only for slaves; he admired the power of Rome but had severe hostility towards its teaching.

Then you can't make a statement like the one you just did, it makes no sense what so ever to assert something about a topic you know nothing about.

Does the bible contain rules? Yes. Is it a rulebook? No. It's a guidebook.

Burn in hell, as far as I'm aware, was never said by god or Jesus; rather hell should be seen of a place of extreme isolation from god or good. The image of fire in hell was provided by Jesus when he compared hell to a very real burning valley of trash.

This isn't the main message of the bible and therefore does not define what it is.

Well...that makes you hypocritical for one thing, and invalid for another.
Read the Bible, then you can talk about it.
