Ok. I've done some ritual and my original topic probably came off as a bit... zealous. I think I'll explain a couple of things now.
I do worship satan. I ritual, and i have pentagrams all over my house. I do not have a pet goat. They creep the **** out of me.
Satan, to me, does not represent every evil ever enacted, but instead, indulgence and pleasure. Let's take a look at christianity. Not allowed to have intercourse before marriage, no homosexual marriage, rest on the sabbath day, don't eat meat on Fridays, and fast for forty days in the spring.
Satan doesn't believe in limitations, he says that everyone should indulge themselves in their wants and desires. Quite the positive character, no? and remember, we are talking about Satan. Beezlebub. Lucifer. That guy.

While I don't know about modern Catholics, I do know that as recently as my parents generation that Catholics would slap their children for words their children said that went against Catholic views.
The Bible also defines marriage in several different ways, many involving incest and harlots, but nothing about love between a man and woman. Yet we ignore that. Just because the bible says something does not make it right.

Funny enough animal sacrifice goes against Wiccan beliefs of not doing any harm.

Yeahhhhhhhh No. Every religion has different degrees of strict-ness. So, saying That some Wiccan you knew said something is not an actual FACT of the religion.

Don't eat meat onthe friday before easter and fast for forty days is islam. Really satanism doesn't make much sense to me because religion doesn't make much sense to me, but my question to you is Why do you need a religion for indulgence and pleasure? Why spend money buying pentagrams, Candles and whatever else you need to experience pleasure that isn't even caused by those things?

I was into Wicca for a while and I'm saying that goes against Wiccan beliefs. So yes I do know what I'm talking about beyond a quick internet search.
