Ok. I've done some ritual and my original topic probably came off as a bit... zealous. I think I'll explain a couple of things now.

I do worship satan. I ritual, and i have pentagrams all over my house. I do not have a pet goat. They creep the **** out of me.

Satan, to me, does not represent every evil ever enacted, but instead, indulgence and pleasure. Let's take a look at christianity. Not allowed to have intercourse before marriage, no homosexual marriage, rest on the sabbath day, don't eat meat on Fridays, and fast for forty days in the spring.

Satan doesn't believe in limitations, he says that everyone should indulge themselves in their wants and desires. Quite the positive character, no? and remember, we are talking about Satan. Beezlebub. Lucifer. That guy.

A kid that didn't know any better? No. Maybe a slap on the wrists at the most, but an innocent kid? Really punish them and everyone who is ever related to them for smoking one cigarette when they did not know any better?

They did know better they were told not to by there parents.
God kicked them out of the Garden of Eden, but he didn't abandon them. He made clothes for them and continues in later passages of the Bible to stick around.

"Put the money in the bag, or I will shoot you! But hey, its your free will, feel free to not give me the money..." isn't a choice.

Yeah but this is the opposite of what happen. God said NOT to do something or something bad will happen. The serpent wasn't forcing them to eat it either just suggesting. At no point were they forced by gun point to eat or not eat the apple.

But they didn't know it was wrong. If your four year old son was caught smoking, influenced by your babysitter who you made go into your home, what would you do?

And fine. He just kicked them out of the house and gave them a little (barley enough to survive in some parts, look at Africa) and tortured them forever after they died, along with they next generation to infinity. Isn't that a little harsh?

That isn't taking about the apple. It is talking about "LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY OR DIE!!!!!!!!!!1!1!" which is actually what he said...

These weren't kids, they were full adults and the just finished naming the birds and the rivers and could speak with God. I would assume they had more intelligence than a toddler.

Not in respects to right and wrong. In that respect they were just like toddlers, if not worse.

There had to be some sort of test in order to know if the loved God or not. They didn't pass the test. If your forced to love something then how do you know it's true love or if it was just by force? (How are you a voluntary if the work is mandatory?)

You don't punish someone for not loving you back. It also seems God does a lot of demanding on this front.

Well, the answer to half the questions that came up were in those two passages. Why not re quote them.

No those aren't answers to the issues of this part of the scripture. If they were answers this whole thing would have been resolved three pages ago.

Adam and Eve may have made it to Heaven which is possible. So they may not be being tortured forever.

The could do anything they wanted except that one thing, and they screwed it up.

Well there was no Jeebuz, and they didn't sacrifice anything (that tradition was latter implemented by there ancestors) so according to you, they would logically go to hell for sinning. (Of course the Jews who wrote it don't believe in hell, that was added on with the new BS)

The could do anything they wanted except that one thing, and they screwed it up.

Fine. "DON"T TOCUH MAH FRIGGIN APPLE OR I WILL KILL U *****!". Much better, isn't it?

How would they know that not listening was a bad thing? Yes they were told not to you said that, but they lacked the ability to know to listen to such a warning. Especially when presented with an alternative.
If they screwed it up then why would everyone after them have to suffer for it?

He didn't say He'd kill them He said they would be doomed to die. Just like don't touch that high voltage power line or you will die. The person warned them not to do something that will get them killed.

I get what your saying. I feel that it would be sufficient enough to know not to do something and know the consequence, you will die, they had to have some idea dieing wasn't good. You can know something is not good and necessarily not know the inverse. The tree was called the tree of Knowledge of good and bad. So did they also not know what good was either?

How? As stated before they don't gain such knowledge until after eating the fruit?

The tree was called the tree of Knowledge of good and bad. So did they also not know what good was either?

That would be correct.

lol this thread is bull****

How so? Because we are going over and comparing the deeds of God and the deeds of Satan, or because it's main focus is on the worship of Satan?

Christianity.... No real gray area. It's either your good and love/fear god, or your bad and you go to hell unless you ask for forgiveness from this invisible guy in the sky!
Yay! Now I won't be tortured in the after life because I said I'm sorry!

Can any Christian SEE what is wrong with that?

If they could there wouldn't be a religion.

Well past leaders tend to use this to help there political agenda, from the people who wrote it to today... "KILL DAH HIERATIC" seemed to actually work as a legitimate argument of many, crusades, inquisition, etc.....

I think worshipping anyone or thing is stupid.

what a fine collection of vocabulary and argumentative statements you've acquired!
