Ok. I've done some ritual and my original topic probably came off as a bit... zealous. I think I'll explain a couple of things now.

I do worship satan. I ritual, and i have pentagrams all over my house. I do not have a pet goat. They creep the **** out of me.

Satan, to me, does not represent every evil ever enacted, but instead, indulgence and pleasure. Let's take a look at christianity. Not allowed to have intercourse before marriage, no homosexual marriage, rest on the sabbath day, don't eat meat on Fridays, and fast for forty days in the spring.

Satan doesn't believe in limitations, he says that everyone should indulge themselves in their wants and desires. Quite the positive character, no? and remember, we are talking about Satan. Beezlebub. Lucifer. That guy.

what a fine collection of vocabulary and argumentative statements you've acquired!

I will restate this in the form of a question. What makes anyone or thing worthy of worship?

These are the meanings of worship according to the free online dictionary site:

1. To honor and love as a deity.
2. To regard with ardent or adoring esteem or devotion.

I worship AG3, Top Gear, Great food, TV, sport and knowledge.

Whatever you want, its your choice to worship it. Its not your choice to make others do the same though, its a personal view.

If they could there wouldn't be a religion.

Well maybe they would be more lenient with other religions if they saw anything besides that stupid blinding 'faith' they all have.

Christianity.... No real gray area. It's either your good and love/fear god, or your bad and you go to hell unless you ask for forgiveness from this invisible guy in the sky!
Yay! Now I won't be tortured in the after life because I said I'm sorry!

As a Christian, I've been taught that God is all-forgiving. We barely know or are taught anything about hell. Maybe I should pay attention in mass, eh.

All forgiving but only if you chose to love him, some how not loving him means that you don't want to be forgiven and you want to go to hell; I don't really get that. Also it's mass, the Catholic church exists to recruit why would they talk about something that isn't positive?

Please pardon this comment. My mood at the time affected my post. Sorry.

Anyways. You are supposed to love God yet fear his actions. This in while makes no sense to me at all.

The rest, meat, and fast are not current Christian beliefs. Homosexual marriage and intercourse before marriage are deeply sinful. Satan is a deceiver, and uses the myth of human pleasure as a lure.

According to what limited knowledge I know of Satan, he was the other son of God that wanted all humanity to be forced to worship God, with Satan as his enforcer. God rejected his idea, and the war in heaven ensued.

That has nothing to do with what actually happened.

This whole idea of Satanism goes against everything I believe in.

And so it falls to me to ask: Why?

because you're a brainwashed Catholic, plain and simple. too ignorant of other beliefs to comprehend what individuals with levels of higher-thinking are discussing. It's almost cute.

It's actually kind of funny, when you think about it. Satan is stereotyped as evil, and yet he accepts free marriage and freedom of the body, while the Catholics oppress it. Who's the evil one now?

These are the insulting comments I was talking about. How does this add to your side of the debate? Or at least phrase it nicer? you could have just put the last part.

So, when you're a kid, did your parents ever spank you? Or now do they threaten to take away your mobile or whatever? You still love them and you fear their actions.

If you think they don't understand then try educating them.

I would like it if you provided some links that I and others can learn more about satanism. Particularly your brand of satanism would be interesting.

You think we should fear those we love? That's messed up.

The wrong definition of fear is being used.

archaic : frighten
2: archaic : to feel fear in (oneself)
3: to have a reverential awe of <fear God>
4:to be afraid of : expect with alarm <fear the worst>

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fear

When they say fear they mean reverential awe.

Were you ever scared your dad was coming to spank you? Were you scared of being yelled at or scolded?
