as a pats fan, i must say that brady is better. and not just becuz of that, but several other factors as well.
playoff records
brady: 14-4
manning: 9-9
rings
Brady: 3
manning: 1
brady has won 3 rings with no-name WRs, he has the TD record when he finally got a good WR in moss, he has turned welker from no-name to a pro-bowler, his career rating is just 0.1 lower than that of manning's which so many manning fans love to fluant, and brady is being best right about now, and overall there avg stats are about the same. want proof? read em and weep manning fans.
i did this by taking away the 2010 season stats except for QB rating, then dividing it by the # of seasons they have played as a starter
brady: 3855 yds 7.4 YPA 28 TDs 12 Ints 63.6% Comp% QB Rating 94.7
manning: 4177 yds 7.6 YPA 30 TDs 15 Ints 64.9% Comp% QB Rating 94.9

if you ask me, these stats are overall similar, and when u throw in 3 Rings 14-4 vs 1 ring and 9-9, i would have to say that overall brady is better

GO PATS AND BRADY!

The Colts aren't good though. Manning is all they have going for them. Brady's team is so good it's ridiculous. I agree Brady running for MVP, but his stats for this season don't mean he is better than Brees' season. The Patriots have mostly an easy schedule, and an amazing team like I've said before. Brees' team sucked without him, and he led them to victory.

I'd say that Tom Brady is the better of the two. Manning is an excellent quarterback, but the reason that Brady gets my vote is because Manning cannot take pressure. When Manning gets pressure on him, he throws like crap, while Brady will throw in basically the same way.

Well why don't you read my rant on Brady that praised Manning in almost every way, on the page before this one (page 6).

Anyone see Rex Ryan lash out at Brady? It's because he's so easy to make fun of. His stupid hair makes him look like such a fool. He almost drowned while kayaking, and he got in a car accident in Boston. The things that he does make me sick. I don't even think he donates to many charities. I don't think Peyton does anything else but donate to charities and study tape, while Brady gets praised for his shenanigans. Forget on-the-field numbers, Brady is not the brightest crayon in the box. However, that doesn't say Manning is better, because that's not on-the-field stats, but Manning is a better person than Brady. Just saying.

Also, I've probably said this before, but Manning makes his own plays on the field. He's a coach in a quarterback's body. He knows defenses better than any football player who has ever lived. Brady just throws to the open man, who just happens to catch the ball.

Brady's recievers are amazing at running routes, so Brady just throws it where he is supposed too. Manning knows what spot is going to be open before he even hikes the ball. He reads the defence so well, and he is so good at making audibles on the field. He also picks all the plays himself, whereas Belichek tells Brady the plays. MANNING IS BETTER SO STOP ARGUING I AM RIGHT I AM ALWAYS RIGHT. lol jk.

Exactly, Brady's had the crutch of having a great coach.

This is the most true statement in the entire thread. Somebody have a mod lock this. The argument's over, you can't possibly win this you Brady fanboys.

Well...

Tom Brady has had a great team around him, where the rest of the Colts this year have been pretty bad. So with a better group of players Brady looks better. And Manning is more clutch when it matters. So I think Manning is better.

Lol, I can tell you are a Peyton Manning fan boy. No biased opinion here! I'm not a fan boy of either of these QBs, but I will say this. In a several years, you'll all be eating Phillip Rivers' fumes!

Neal Kading is a real baby. Every time he misses a field goal hes like "Ohhh I missed it agian!" and starts crying.

Tom Brady is better and unless a disaster happens, he will be the leauge's MVP this season.

No.

The rings don't really matter. It's mainly because Brady has a better team. Of course he's going to have more rings. If you judge the individual quarterback though you can see that Manning is better. The colts are not that good of a team and look at Manning's stats and how many games he's won.

Brady's always had the better coach. Belichick is one of the greats, along with Don Shula and Bud Grant and all those people. Manning had a few coaches, and I'm only going to count his last two: Dungy and Caldwell. So Dungy was an ok coach, but he's a better coach off of the field than he is on the field, because he helped Michael Vick regain character, and he's also a Christian nut which is another reason why he's a better coach off the field. Caldwell is mediocre, not even. Manning has had about 6 or 7 straight seasons with 12 wins or more (snapped this season) with these average> (that just means below average) coaches. Manning can easily adapt to his receivers, while Brady can't. Every time Manning gets a new target he throws to him. Brady doesn't have that ability. Everyone saw what happened last year when Welker got hurt: Brady had a rookie receiver (Edelman) that was decent and a disgruntled one (Randy Moss) who is basically washed up, and on the Titans now, so they lost.
And an argument against Manning's high number of interceptions: Look at the number of pass attempts he has. It's unbelievable. And when you have over 400 attempts, you're bound to make a few bad throws. Brady's obviously had a better year, and a better postseason career, but overall, PEYTON Manning is the best QB in the league, and always has been, since 1999 (1998 was bad for him). And by the way, I may be a stat-dork (so I'm kinda biased), but winning the Super Bowl doesn't matter. That's dependent on your team, as previously mentioned like 10,000 times. That's it. Rant over. Brady, die.

Tom Brady: Always been the spotlight, with him in the Patriots. He most definetely did NOT have bad recievers. Deoin Branch was one of the top recievers for a long time. Also, Bill Bellichek was a great coach. Even if the recievers and running backs were nonames, he made them great. They would never make fundamental errors, so Brady could hit them every time.
Peyton Manning: Over the past few years, he has been going a bit downhill (but so has Brady with that hair of his). Peyton Manning aways made perfect pass after perfect pass. Also: the e Colts have never had a running game. Peyton Manning made so many pass attempts it is unbelievable, and that is why he has more interceptions than Brady. And Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne wouldn't have been big revievers without Manning (mostly Wayne). And when the Colts (shoulve have been) 16-0, he had no recievers but Wayne, who was injured. ALSO. Manning coached the offence all by himself, where Brady had a great coach.
The Colts aren't good though. Manning is all they have going for them. Brady's team is so good it's ridiculous. I agree Brady running for MVP, but his stats for this season don't mean he is better than Brees' season. The Patriots have mostly an easy schedule, and an amazing team like I've said before. so better team huh? guess how many pro-bowlers the pats had on their offense from 01-06? 3, not incluging bardy. 2 were injury replacements though, and the other didnt start it.

manning's career avg's are barely any higher than brady's.
brady has the better TD-Int ratio
the higher QB Rating.
fastest to reach 100 wins, most TDs in a season and a quarter.
he has 335 passes without an int.
he's 8-4 vs manning, and in those games, he also has the higher QB Rating in those games.
he has 3 rings to just 1 for manning. he is 14-4 in the playoffs, with just 1 one-and-done playoff appearance. manning has 7, including yesterday's(albeit i cant blame manning for that one. the colts D pulled a pats D in 42, where both gave up late leads), and is only 9-10 in the playoffs.

Brady > Manning

Dear lord. It was obvious who this guy was going to pick, and he only has one forum post. My opinion: he joined just so he could give Manning his props. But that would be prejudging him, so I'll dig a little deeper.
