as a pats fan, i must say that brady is better. and not just becuz of that, but several other factors as well.
playoff records
brady: 14-4
manning: 9-9
rings
Brady: 3
manning: 1
brady has won 3 rings with no-name WRs, he has the TD record when he finally got a good WR in moss, he has turned welker from no-name to a pro-bowler, his career rating is just 0.1 lower than that of manning's which so many manning fans love to fluant, and brady is being best right about now, and overall there avg stats are about the same. want proof? read em and weep manning fans.
i did this by taking away the 2010 season stats except for QB rating, then dividing it by the # of seasons they have played as a starter
brady: 3855 yds 7.4 YPA 28 TDs 12 Ints 63.6% Comp% QB Rating 94.7
manning: 4177 yds 7.6 YPA 30 TDs 15 Ints 64.9% Comp% QB Rating 94.9

if you ask me, these stats are overall similar, and when u throw in 3 Rings 14-4 vs 1 ring and 9-9, i would have to say that overall brady is better

GO PATS AND BRADY!

aaahh, but they r not. in fact, he is thriving ever since moss left, even without a true deep threat.

and the only time manning has really done that was his rookie year. thats about it.

and how do i have poor grammar!? sure i dont spell check but thats all!

Deep Threats are crucial to a QB's aresenal. They allow him to make big plays with a TD opertunity.

and the only time manning has really done that was his rookie year. thats about it.

And many post-season appearences, several Super Bowl appearences, and consistently good stats. And all with a sub-par defense, and fairly good offense. Brady, on the other hand, does it with a great defense, and fairly good offense. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN: Manning does what he does without many of the tools that Brady has; if Brady and Manning switched teams, the Pats would be AMAZING and The Colts would be bleh. Brady is on the better team, so part of his stats comes from superior players. Manning doesn't have this advantage, and is hindered by it.

and how do i have poor grammar!? sure i dont spell check but thats all!

For example, I'll fix your sentence:

And how do I have poor grammar!? Sure, I don't have spell check, but thats all!

Any bolded items have been added or fixed. And I would say that that is not 'all'.

Actually, Brady has had no players make the Pro Bowl, because Brady owns no players except himself. So unless Brady has made the Pro Bowl (I don't know if he has or not), than he has had no players make the Pro Bowl.

and what the heck do i care about capitolization? its AG. jeez.

Because of several reasons:

1) You look immature. People who can't write properly tend to be the little kids who are just learning. Writing improperly gives the appearance that you are immature/little kid, even if your not.

2) If gives the appearance that you don't care about the topic. If you don't use good grammar, it makes your view 'irrelevant', to use your own words.

3) It makes your post easier to understand. If people can't read your writing, than there not going to respond. Simple as that.

And its not just capitolization and spelling: you're using the wrong words, incorrect puntuation, incorrest usage of words, etc, etc.

Wow lol. The grammar Nazi has been corrected by another grammar Nazi.

From all the things that I've read though I would say Peyton Manning. I left some articles on the first page.

rings:brady 4-1

brady is better

Read through the previous pages when the good discussions happened.

The rings don't really matter. It's mainly because Brady has a better team. Of course he's going to have more rings. If you judge the individual quarterback though you can see that Manning is better. The colts are not that good of a team and look at Manning's stats and how many games he's won.

It's been a while since I posted here. Here's what I have to say.

Brady's always had the better coach. Belichick is one of the greats, along with Don Shula and Bud Grant and all those people. Manning had a few coaches, and I'm only going to count his last two: Dungy and Caldwell. So Dungy was an ok coach, but he's a better coach off of the field than he is on the field, because he helped Michael Vick regain character, and he's also a Christian nut which is another reason why he's a better coach off the field. Caldwell is mediocre, not even. Manning has had about 6 or 7 straight seasons with 12 wins or more (snapped this season) with these average> (that just means below average) coaches. Manning can easily adapt to his receivers, while Brady can't. Every time Manning gets a new target he throws to him. Brady doesn't have that ability. Everyone saw what happened last year when Welker got hurt: Brady had a rookie receiver (Edelman) that was decent and a disgruntled one (Randy Moss) who is basically washed up, and on the Titans now, so they lost.

And an argument against Manning's high number of interceptions: Look at the number of pass attempts he has. It's unbelievable. And when you have over 400 attempts, you're bound to make a few bad throws. Brady's obviously had a better year, and a better postseason career, but overall, PEYTON Manning is the best QB in the league, and always has been, since 1999 (1998 was bad for him). And by the way, I may be a stat-dork (so I'm kinda biased), but winning the Super Bowl doesn't matter. That's dependent on your team, as previously mentioned like 10,000 times. That's it. Rant over. Brady, die.

Does Tom Brady have his own dance? I think not:

Peyton Manning Dance

(Trying to end on a lighter note here)

It will not end, I must have a last say.

Tom Brady: Always been the spotlight, with him in the Patriots. He most definetely did NOT have bad recievers. Deoin Branch was one of the top recievers for a long time. Also, Bill Bellichek was a great coach. Even if the recievers and running backs were nonames, he made them great. They would never make fundamental errors, so Brady could hit them every time.
Peyton Manning: Over the past few years, he has been going a bit downhill (but so has Brady with that hair of his). Peyton Manning aways made perfect pass after perfect pass. Also: the e Colts have never had a running game. Peyton Manning made so many pass attempts it is unbelievable, and that is why he has more interceptions than Brady. And Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne wouldn't have been big revievers without Manning (mostly Wayne). And when the Colts (shoulve have been) 16-0, he had no recievers but Wayne, who was injured. ALSO. Manning coached the offence all by himself, where Brady had a great coach.

Brady should be MVP this season. His numbers are amazing - no interceptions thrown in the last ten weeks of the season? - and they have to be ranked up there with the best seasons in modern NFL history, maybe even better than Brees' 2008 season. But Manning can still redeem himself. It is possible the two teams could clash in the AFC Championship contest - if Manning can beat Brady to the Super bowl, it would surely make a statement.
